Another fantastic dinner at The Capital Grille! Anderson, our server, provided top notch service. We were celebrating my birthday, and I was wished a Happy Birthday by the hostess, and arrived to our table to find a hand-signed birthday card and confetti. The manager stopped by to check on us and when he saw the birthday card he offered complimentary champagne! The food was delicious. My filet was cooked to a perfect medium. My husband was in the mood for seafood, and he really enjoyed the seared tuna entree. The complimentary birthday dessert, which featured both bruleed cheesecake AND flourless espresso chocolate cake, was the perfect ending! This is a great choice to celebrate your special occasions.

Went for my anniversary and the hospitality was personable. From the moment we came through the door. We were seated and our table had two roses and a card. The food was good. And the service was excellent as the staff wish us a Happy Anniversary! The manager also stopped. Upon completion of our meals we Surprised again with a dessert. We were 1st time guest here tonight. Everything from start to finish was phenomenal. Our server Tiana was so knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend asking for her!!! From start to finish, my experience at The Capital Grillee was top tier. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable — very demure and refined. Every dish was perfectly executed: the steak was cooked to perfection with multiple sauce options, the lamb chops tender and flavorful, and the lobster and potatoes were simply divine. Even the Brussels sprouts were incredible.
The appetizers set the tone — crispy calamari and warm, fresh bread that melted in our mouth. Dessert was the perfect sweet finish. The drinks were expertly crafted by Thomas — refreshing, balanced, and with just the right buzz. He knew each dish inside and out, very informative!
Adam on the service? Impeccable. Attentive without being intrusive, professional yet personable. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Our party of 30 had a great time at Capital Grille tonight. We started with all the hors d’oeuvres from their menu. My favorites with the lobster and crab cakes, lobster fritters, prosciutto wrapped mozzarella, and they always have the best calamari. I didn’t hear a single complaint about the food from any of the party, and most everyone loved it all. We ended with the creme brûlée, crème brûlée cheesecake, and chocolate torte. They were all fabulous. They have a very nice wine lists at a varieties of price points. The sommelier, Grant, was super helpful s well as all the service staff. First time to the Capital Grille in Columbus but liked all the other ones around country, this one was consistently great in service, and food. I highly recommend Capital Grille!

I am not exaggerating when I say that this was the best steak of my life. I took my mom here for her birthday and I got the roasted mushrooms with the chef’s special bone-in Ribeye. I ordered it medium rare and the steak came out absolutely perfect. Everybody enjoyed their meal and it was honestly one of the best dining experiences of my life. I highly recommend this place! Just of note, it can be very expensive. My mom got 2 beers and her NY strip, and I had a beer and a Col. Taylor’s bourbon with my bone in ribeye. We split the mushrooms and an appetizer. After tip, that came to around $325. That being said though, this is the perfect venue for special occasions if it is in your budget.

Dined here for Thanksgiving. Our server, Anderson, was great! We ordered salads, the thanksgiving meal, kids mac n cheese with green beans, and a steak. The turkey was delicious and juicy, the mashed potatoes were creamy and savory, the sweet potato mash was perfectly sweet, the green beans were fresh and flavorful, and the cranberry sauce was unique. I’m curious about the Christmas menu now. 😉

I came to this new steak house for lunch. Their lunch menu had a few great selections with a good price. I got NY steak frites with clam chowder. Their free rolls were amazing with butter. Clam chowder was authentic. My medium steak was grilled well, but some thick slices were a little hard to bite.
The dining room was splendid with many elegant statues and paintings. Service was wonderful. WiFi was fast. The Capital could be the best steak house near campus.

The Capital Grille is now our favorite steakhouse in Columbus. Truly Outstanding cuisine, service and atmosphere. On par with some of the best restaurants we visited around the world.

Of note, the au poivre peppercorn crusted NY strip was absolutely delicious, sides were great and cocktails superb. The atmosphere is modern, pleasant and very welcoming. We look forward to returning to the Capital Grille again soon. 5/5

Went here before a movie cause it was right by the theater. Have been to a handful of other Capital Grilles. This one…Not great. Sitting at the bar is super tight when it’s full, as you are elbow to elbow with your neighbor. Despite the bar being full for dinner and drinks, there was only one bartender. The service workers mean well but they are a little amateur. The food was fine. Overall there are plenty of better steak houses in Columbus.
