This was a solid spot to get iceIce cream and food. We stopped here in early July to get an ice cream. It was very good on a very warm day.
They had a good selection of flavors, and the usual options cup, cone or waffle cone. They have plenty of parking on-site and it is easily accessible from the road. If you are in the area stop in!

Great little place to stop for ice cream. We got a medium cup with 2 favors. Excellent ice cream, generous size. Picnic tables outside in the shade to sit in also. Discount if you pay cash.

The Cape House in Brewster on Paines Creek Rd, near the beach, is a great, fun, friendly, very delicious, summer family take out style restaurant for lunch or dinner with picnic tables known for generous portions and the largest ice cream cones. New owners Rob and Izzy are very creative chefs. Stop by all summer to see whats new ! The lobster roll was the best I ever had. Everything we had was very delicious. Put The Cape House on your summer 2026 list! #summer2026 #Brewster #Capecod #yummy #takeout #family #delicious #fun #lunch #dinner #ice cream #lobster #summer #beach #chefs

It was good. They did give me regular fries instead of Sweet potato fries but the place was busy. The seafood was pretty good but the best part was the chicken fingers and the clam chowder

Great spot in Brewster! There are many good places to get lobster rolls on the Cape. I go to Kate’s for everything else. Fish sandwiches, crab rolls, clam platters, fries, onion rings, ice cream. It’s definitely worth a stop and a taste. The food is terrific.

Have been coming here for 30 years. Best ice cream on the cape by far! Generous servings.

Good food. Very expensive lobster rolls ($21.50), but they are at most places. Close to the beach, and overall nice location. Ice cream selection is great (and delicious)! Would highly recommend the fried clam roll.

My friend and I have been to Kate’s dozens of times since last year because we absolutely love the lobster roll and crabmeat roll and the onion rings here are our favorite on the cape. Yesterday when we went for dinner, we started are our order first by saying mozzarella sticks and the cashier asked impatiently and rudely, “Anything else?” It caught me off guard as I had a good 6 other items to order and was not expecting such impolite service. We continued to order and I wanted to make sure that I can sub the fries that come with the rolls for curly fries, which I have done many times in the past. The cashier told us that the rolls don’t come with fries. Mind you we ordered the lobster roll, crabmeat roll, and tuna roll. ALL of which are in the rolls section of the menu that says “All served with fries.” My friend and I were confused and before I could say anything the cashier kept moving her head back inside so she couldn’t hear me. Before we paid, I politely got her attention to ask if this was a new policy because their menu says they come with fries and she very rudely responded saying, “None of the rolls have ever come with fries.” And then she disappeared behind the window again. My friend and I, incredibly confused at the service we just received, paid and walked to the other side trying to process what just happened. I pulled up pictures from the last time I was at kate’s to make sure I wasn’t losing my mind to see if i had fries with my rolls, and guess what…they did come with my rolls. After getting our number called, I opened our containers at the pick up station to see that my rolls did come with fries. I called over the employee working at the pick up station to explain the situation that had happened with the cashier and that I would have subbed out the fries if I wasn’t misinformed instead of ordering curly fries separately. She clarified that certain rolls don’t come with fries but the ones that I ordered do.
I’m not sure what was up with the cashier, but my friend and I did not appreciate the rude and impolite service, the misinformation and the gaslighting.

A Cape Cod staple. I’ve been going to Kate’s for over 40 years to grab some good seafood, fried veggies, a must have raspberry lime ricky, and stroll down the street for a beautiful sunset.

The Clamcakes were excellent. Service was good. The outdoor seating is adequate. The owners children running around outside and in and out of the kitchen was not pleasant and the fact that they were running out in and out of the kitchen blowing their noses and taking kitchen utensils out to play with in the rocks was definitely a health concern.
