The CanTiki is a great NoHo spot for fun drinks and vibes!
I recently came to the CanTiki for their Sippin’ Santa Holiday themed set-up, and had a total blast!
The themed drinks were really creative, fun, and I loved the different mugs that come for each cocktail.
We tried a few rounds of drinks – my favorites were the Hot Buttered Grog for a warm drink, and the Holiday on Ice for a cold drink!
The Hot Buttered Grog was soothing and felt great to sip, while also having a good kick and strength from the liquor!
The Holiday on Ice, on the other hand, gave satisfying chills and was similarly strong!
I also really appreciated the care that the bartender took into preparing each individual drink, taking a few minutes…but it was well worth the wait!
I also loved the variety of seating available – from bar seating, high tops, booths, and tables.
This is a great local spot in NoHo and I highly recommend for a casual Tiki bar to hang at for some cocktails and chats!

Vibey & cute atmosphere with great bartenders. As a non-tiki drinker I’m able to get classic and even unique cocktails made for me given their extensive amount of liquor & liquors. Great music too. KO is a great bartender, nice guy and has great taste in music. Happy to have this spot in our neighborhood! (ps the wall paper is amazing!)

A cute find in NoHo. A friend and I wanted to meet for a quick bite. We had no idea where we wanted to go. I happened to park in a nearby area and walked down Magnolia. It was daytime and around 1 PM. We weren’t looking to rage lol The front caught my eye. I walked in and I knew this was the place we could grab a bite to eat. I was greeted by one of the owners. She was super sweet. I started off with a water a lime. Then. I ordered a pina colada mocktail. Super yummy. By that time my friend arrived. We ordered: poke wonton boats, tots, buffalo wings, sliders and onion rings. The Poke Wonton Boats were the best. I would highly recommend that. Only thing that was strange was before we ordered food, the owner asked that we put a card on file. We weren’t going to leave and I wasn’t sure if the other patrons put cards down as well. Other than that the decor, and vibe was pretty cool.

We visited this past Friday around 1 AM, and unfortunately, it was a repeat of a frustrating pattern. Despite sitting at the bar and being acknowledged with a nod from both bartenders, we were never served.
Instead, we sat there watching one of the staff members seemingly more interested in dancing than actually doing their job. It seems like they had enough energy to dance, but not enough to serve us.
We watched as multiple parties who arrived after us were attended to immediately while we were ignored.
It’s hard not to wonder about the motivation behind the neglect – whether it’s because we are a mixed race couple or because we weren’t being loud.
Regardless, being treated as invisible while others are prioritized is unacceptable.
We won’t be back and recommend you skip this spot.

We came here at midnight. The place was packed and they had a dj playing a good mix of songs. The drinks were fun and tasted good too. We were accidentally double-charged for our drinks, but the owner got back to us and refunded the second charge. I really appreciate a business that follows-up on these reviews. It means they plan on sticking around. May come back earlier in the day and try their food. Look for a follow-up.

The vibe is just enough tiki to feel special and just enough dive to feel comfortable. The drinks are SO good, but that’s just the beginning. Usually I can’t stomach more than one tiki drink because they’re so sweet AND boozy. But these are balanced. They’re sweet without being syrupy and boozy without blacking me out after half a cocktail. I can and will sit in here for hours on end sipping these delicious drinks.
I can’t wait until they start doing events on the stage. Karaoke would be a blast here. The staff is incredible and the energy is amazing. Also, the ceiling sparkles…which is always good.

Avedon Arcade
For what it is, a chill neighborhood hang, the CanTiki does well. The drinks are fruity riffs on classic tiki drinks. And outside from the name, and a few painted palm fronds inside and the drinks, that’s about as tiki as it gets.
I like that they have snacks though and despite being a big fan of classic tiki, some of their drinks were surprisingly good.
They have some local events like djs and karaoke, which brings in a more broad and general crowd in for those that like that sort of thing.

I hate this place . The service is so bad.
The bartender is slow and weird. I ask for 4 roses bourbon, neat. I asked if they have it. She said, yes, she went and she came back then She said, no, we don’t have it. I said, do you have Elijah Craig? She said, yes, we do. She went then , she came back.And said, no, we don’t have it. So I ask her, what do you have? She said bullet and Jim Beqm So asked for bullet, she went and she came back, she said we don’t have a bullet. So I asked her okay, I’ll take the Jim Beam again. I kid you not, she said, we don’t have Jim Beam, and that’s after waiting half an hour to get a service. Finally, I got fed up and walked out. And also, this is a second time this happens. Never, ever again, I hate this damm place.
