If you’re an avid vinyl record collector this is the place to be. Last Saturday of each month a few seasons djs gather here. Yale students come thru as well. Friendly atmosphere, great service. Attentive staff. This is a bar that serves vegan fare. I had fries and a glass of pinot. Definitely coming back.

I don’t drink alcohol but decided to try The Cannon’s vegan menu for brunch on graduation weekend. I had the “Premier Plate” and it was yummy delicious! The bartender who took the order and served my dish was very friendly, courteous and professional. Highly recommend.

We had a delightful brunch at this cozy little bar. We found that they have an almost entirely vegan menu, which is what we always go for when available. The vegan menu is fantastic, portions are big, lovely presentation and left happy and full. We shared the Full Breakfast (very much like an English Breakfast: tofu scramble, grilled tomato and mushrooms, roasted potatoes, carrot bacon, and beans). We also had the tofu scramble wrap and the avocado toast. TBH the carrot bacon needs some work but I think they are really trying to fine-tune their menu. Our server/manager, Jake, was great. We spent some time talking about menu and told me they will be offering pies, like steak and ale! He even gave me one to try. We will be back!

I got the fried oyster mushroom wrap and it was perfect. Crispy, super filling, and their BBQ sauce is really good. Also tried the French toast which was honestly some of the best I’ve had. The portions are huge so come hungry.
They have a solid beer selection with local craft options which is cool even though I don’t drink. The bartender was friendly and there was an Arsenal match on TV which added to the atmosphere. It’s apparently a big supporters bar for that.
Street parking is annoying but the food makes it worth dealing with. The whole place just feels welcoming and laid back.

Walked into this neich place and I’m so glad we did. Vegan food done right with an atmosphere that I would hang out in all night and watch a game! Excellent selection of beers including some eclectic ones. Bartender was on point with the spirits as well. We got sat and ordered and had our food relatively quick. The fried oyster mushrooms were out of this world. The chef knows his stuff. Can’t rave enough about this place.

Cute little spot. Jazz music really made it what it was on Sunday night. It created a fun and moody atmosphere. The food did take a while to be served. The waiter/bartender was friendly, and the vegan burger wasn’t bad! Overall, the music was the highlight. GF options are few, important to add GF pasta and bread to the menu as well as more dessert options. Hope they consider that!

Little slow on the particular day we went but we didn’t mind. We like slow British or Irish pub style places and it gives that vibe. Great food, yummy curry sauce, pleasantly surprised by hard cider and mulled cider special on a freezing winter day. Bonus that they bartender was rocking a 90s ska playlist that day and we loved the throw back. Seemed like chill people. If we lived in town I bet we’d be regulars. Vegan haven! If you eat meat, you won’t miss it.

I can honestly say I didn’t leave hungry and the vegan/vegetarian food was excellent
Will definitely check it out again.
Staff was friendly full bar looks like a nice after hours place as well.
Parking is a little difficult only on street parking and finding a spot isn’t easy.

I’ve ordered from here through DoorDash four times—the first three times the food was great, a lil greasy and order notes missed but its a pub they open in the later hours its not anything unexpected .
This time the food was absolutely inedible. I ordered the crispy mushroom wrap with french fries and then had the audacity to add another side of cashew garlic parm fries over the phone. Big mistake both fries that came with the wrap and the ones ordered over the phone were both an oily , soggy mess .
I honestly could not eat it and I’m not someone shy with fried foods. Instant heartburn in the first three bites. The wrap was oily as well but was not bad and for the sake of not completely wasting
$30 bucks I had to salvage it.

Friendly staff, cool drinks, a fully vegan menu now (including batter deep fried oyster mushrooms, burgers, and wraps), a couple of rainbow flags, and a free range dog getting some treats. I kinda love it here.
