The view speaks for itself! When you can have lunch overlooking Passamaquoddy Bay with birds, seals, boats, whales and more, that’s enough reason to keep going back. We enjoyed two meals last week, as a request from our 5 year old, who also loved seeing whales in the distance. We enjoyed beef and haddock burgers, a Captains Platter, spinach artichoke dip and the little guy loved the mozzarella sticks.

Wonderful waitress! Excellent view! Delicious shrimp tacos. You pay extra not to have them fried. Not sure why. You will pay extra to upgrade the fries to sweet potato fries. I did. They were cold and soggy but that can easily be fixed in the kitchen with time management.

Last night, we went to the Cannery for dinner. We had a reservation for 4 people. Our waitress was wonderful, and the baked stuffed haddock was excellent. We got everything in a timely manner. We will definitely be back.

Ok let’s start with saying I am not sure if other people that complained here are just too picky or if they had bad luck but we got four portions of baked stuffed haddock with different sides and all of them came out great. They were perfectly cooked and everything was hot and good.

The location of The Cannery is amazing. The waitstaff are very nice. The food took a long time for what it was especially for not asking us for any refills. My daughter ordered the pan seared scallops… oof… they tasted like they cooked them in ash from a fire with a rusted pan for close to $30!

I’m so glad the Cannery is back in Eastport again! The Ceasars salad was awesome, homemade croutons, and it was huge all for $9. Good burgers and haddock as well. We will definitely go back to try more of the menu.

Food is ehhh. Servers are great, view is amazing, as is all of eastport. Been here a week on vacation, every place we have been to eat had amazing food. Here not so much. Serving on a salad plate, overcooked and small portions. Sides of coleslaw are two bite servings. Fried clams were overcooked, broiled haddock was paper thin no taste and amounts to a couple of Oz. Disappointed for a fresh seafood place

Was recommended by my airbnb hosts from the Mini Mermaid Mansion (can’t wait to go back). Cold beer and good food at a really reasonable price. Location and water view are fantastic! Love the local history. Owner/manager was attentive and open to suggestions.

Three of us ordered the ribeye, two requested medium rare, one medium, all with baked potato. The meals arrived with all the steaks burnt so badly they were black. The baked potatoes seemed like they were not baked but microwaved. The waitress provided great service but after hearing about how great the food was, we were disappointed to find out it wasn’t.
