Eggs, ham, grits, toast, chicken n waffles, burger, Mac and cheese. All amazing. You need to go here for breakfast/lunch if you’re in New Orleans.

This place is obviously a local favourite based the line of people waiting for a table every time I’ve walked past. Friends had recommended the pancakes to me so I gave them a try. Not amazing but perfectly fine, good size portions if you’re hungry. Loads more things to try on the menu and clearly popular with the locals.

Nice place for breakfast brunch. They have inside and outside seats. Food was great. Service not so great as the waiter seams to had a bad day, rushing people and saying common bro I’m really busy here….. aren’t we the clients you supposed to serve. Also the door guy was sending people to the table without cleaning it first so you find a dirty place in front of you. Food recommended

Total greasy spoon for breakfast. Yes, this is the chili smothered chef’s choice omelet. ‍♂️ it was good but maybe something else next time. Server was nice but didn’t seem too happy to be working that day.

The food is great but the service could be a lot better than it is. The waiters are in a hurry, they don’t even give you time to look at the menu. They don’t have a good service attitude, they look angry. There is a lot of noice inside the restaurant, the cooks are always yelling at each other.

I don’t know if I have ever seen a popular restaurant fail so badly. Off of the ratings I saw, I gave this a try. There are no tables, only immovable stools at the countertop, and they pack you in to fill every seat. I got stuck next to a young child that didn’t know how to sit down and I was kicked multiple times as a result. I was poured water and never asked if I wanted a drink. The staff was friendly enough, but inattentive. Eventually, I ordered the chef’s special omelette. When I got my food, I tried the hash browns first. I could not eat them. Those hash browns were saltier than the Dead Sea. The omelette was pretty good, but also very salty, until I got to a part of the omelette that was undercooked. I was disgusted. I also would add that I prefer my eggs to have bite to them, and their eggs are light and airy, and their chili has beans. I normally am willing to give places second chances, but this is probably going to be an exception to that rule.

I’ve been coming here for 30 years whenever we vacation to New Orleans and it’s dependable and consistent. They retain staff over long periods of time and the staff are extremely friendly. I liked the counter service experience as a kid and I liked sharing the experience with my kids. It can be a bit pricey or I should say we spend more than we expect when eating there.

Little dinner outside the French Quarter. Must go, the food is excellent and the service is top notch. If your looking for a southern flavor this is the place especially for breakfast.
