The club sandwich was solid and satisfying, exactly what you want for a great lunch. What really made the visit special, though, was meeting the owner, Jeremy. We had an amazing conversation, and his friendliness and genuine care for customers make this place feel welcoming and personal.
Great food, great atmosphere, and even better people. I’ll definitely be back.
Good food and the coffee will make me drive back to come have another cup.
The service from the moment we walked in was very welcoming and cordial, found have not ask for more. Great price for a good meal.
Service: …
I may have been there on one of those wonky days, but the service wasn’t quite right. I sat quite a while and eventually needed to flag someone down to place a food request.
I was not offered a menu. I described the basics of what I was looking for and the food server I spoke to, working with the other staff at the cafe, had taken it from there. While speaking with the food server, I noted that a bread option was not mentioned or any suggestions about other side options.
The food was prepared, but I had to collect it from the gentleman behind the bar as the staff had packaged my items in to-go container materials. I had asked for a table and was settled in to dine inside the dining area of the restaurant so I’m not sure why that happened. Perhaps my fault for not clearly stipulating where I would like to eat my meal.
Later, I thought about asking for toast or a muffin, but I let it go as the staff did not check back to see how things were going.
The none-verbal messaging here was a little off-putting for me personally, but again, this is a nice place and the food was indeed hot and tasty once it arrived. I ordered a veggie omelet meal with country potatoes and a small O.J.
*Sticker Shock* Without a menu I didn’t see this coming.
Personally, I can afford to eat here occasionally, though I would want to limit my visits to just once or twice a month due to the higher cost. My meal with tip was just over $20 for breakfast. Even so, I would recommend this place because delicious food is available here.
If they don’t stop by your table to take your order shortly after you arrive, don’t be shy and let them know that you are there. Ask for menus if you want them and let the food server know you’ll be eating in the dining area if that is your plan. Be clear about what you want as your server may overlook other items you might typically expect to be included with your meal. If you’re assertive and vigilant, you’ll be good to go.
