I ordered Pork Crackling to start, this came with a small dish of Apple Puree which I would recommend dipping the very (VERY) crispy and crunchy pork skin in to soften up first. Salty but very flavorful, it was a good introduction to the meal.
Our drinks came out, Passionfruit Martini and an Espresso Martini. Both were delicious and hit all the spots.
It was a tough decision deciding on which Sunday roast meal to order; Chicken, Pork Belly, or Beef. I ended up choosing the triple which gives each of the three selections.
The meal came out and all three meats were delicious and cooked well. Only thing I can even try to say is negative is that the beef was very tough to cut and chew, but it still was incredibly flavorful and that more than made up for it. The gravy that covered the meal was rich and complimented the texture and taste of the veggies and meat in an exquisite manner.
I would recommend coming here for Sunday Roast to anybody that is looking for a great meal and good environment.
This was a great find for us with my family. We were looking for a place that was dog friendly were we could eat outside this summer. The Chop House was perfect. The food was fabulous, they were really nice with our dog (even bringing water in a bowl and the view is incredible.
The menu was also large enough to suit all the difficult taste of the four of us. Highly recommended!
Although I really enjoyed the Sunday roast, what truly caught my attention was the sticky toffee pudding. It was the absolute highlight of my lunch. Delicious!
Service was lovely, friendly and inviting.
Food was delicious. I had set menu 3 courses for £29 which was excellent value and included haggis fritters, treacle cured pork ribeye and dark chocolate delice.
Husband had full menu with scallops, rump steak and sticky toffee pudding.
Couldn’t fault food or service.
