I worked with Lisa recently at an event in my studio, The Sage Grove, and she is such a pleasure to work with. We have previously worked together in the past where I photographed her cakes at a wedding, and I have stopped in to her cafe for food multiple times. Everything she makes is incredible. I highly recommend her to everyone I can!

We couldn’t have asked for a more delightful cake for our daughter’s 21st birthday! Wow! White cake with buttercream frosting, and she added some vanilla cream to the center! Out of this world rich vanilla flavor and beautifully decorated as well. The Cakery is a local gem, and I highly them recommend for any special occasion. Lisa was accommodating and we are lucky to have her talent in this area!

I went here for lunch and had the Rueben sandwich, a fresh lemonade, and a slice of chocolate torte(?) Everything was extremely fresh and tasty. I loved the decor! Very comfy space. I loved that it was a woman-owned business and the young lady at the counter was very friendly. Lunch was served quickly, even though the shop was busy. Big Band music was playing, which made me think of my parents and how they always loved to go dancing. Would highly recommend. She loves baking and I saw photos of her specialty cakes – they are unique and quite lovely.

I ordered a specialty cake and cupcakes for an anniversary party. As always, she did an amazing job! The food was delicious, moist, and worth every penny. She covered the cake in butterflies and the icing is perfection. I’ve been to two other events where she has provided the cake, a wedding and a funeral. It’s always beautiful and delicious. She goes out of her way to make the customers happy and to make sure it looks perfect. She really does flawless work.

I came in with an obscure request for a cake for my mother’s birthday and Lisa and Chris (I think that’s his name, sorry!) were SUPER accommodating and took the time to understand what it was I was looking/asking for. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The final product came out fantastic and my mother LOVED IT. Lisa makes everything in house and everything I’ve tried has been nothing short of spectacular. Incredibly cozy atmosphere as well, and good music choices in my opinion.

I had heard about the Cakery from a friend and ordered a cake and some other food for my daughters bridal shower – the cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious! Everyone loved the chicken salad and quiche and Lisa was a dream to work with. 5+ stars all around!

Super magical place if you walked too quickly, you would miss the adorable alley with plastic flowers. The decor is a mismatch of furniture, art in a homey vibe. There is even a friendly, resident cat who walks around and partake the toilet water. The service was excellent and they surprised my friend with a birthday cookie with a lit candle. They even gave me a cookie for just being there. The sandwiches were so fresh and filling. Definitely a unique place to go.
