The Cajun Boiling Spot is an authentic Cajun Restaurant that is proud to serve Atmore and all surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide high-quality food for all those that wish to indulge into a taste of Cajun authenticity like no other. Owners are Paul Uriegas and his wife Michelle. Paul was born and raised in the marshy wetlands of south Louisiana. His love of cooking came from his mother. They opened The Cajun Boiling Spot in February 2021, hoping that others will enjoy his family recipes that have been passed down for generations.

Our first time here & it did not disappoint! We ordered the Cheese Curds Appetizer and the Mahi Mahi Tacos. The presentation was not only beautiful but very delicious!!! It hit the spot! We came from out of town and when I say this is the one of the best seafood spots my husband and I have ever been to, I truly mean it. We ordered the shrimp gumbo and a big seafood bag, and everything was absolutely amazing. The seasoning was perfect on all of it, and the crab came right out of the shell so easily. The restaurant itself was very clean and so adorable. We will definitely be recommending this place to all of our friends who visit the area and we will absolutely be back next time we’re in town.

What a feast. I ordered the Cajun delight that includes a cup each of red beans and sausage, shrimp etouffee’ and seafood gumbo. And also ordered the boil special with shrimp, snow crab legs, corn and potatoes. Everything was just more than perfect. Fresh and highest quality ingredients is impossible to miss. The seasoning is wonderfully subtle. Savory with a little heat, but appropriately light to allow the food itself be the star as opposed to obscure freezer-burn-overcooked fair typical these days serving as barely edible media for sauces.The last time remember crab this good was the first time I tasted it around 50 years ago and fell head over heels. Tonight, I could just taste the crab meat on its own merits the way nature intended and it was a genuinely nostalgic emotional experience. Compliments to the chef!

Since the reopening and the new porch addition, this place has really exceeded all expectations. The food is delicious and fresh. Everything is fairly priced. The new porch area is very nice, roomy, love the sink for cleanup after all the messy, yummy crawfish eating. Oh my gosh. Just look at this blackened shrimp loaded baked potato and the poboys .. you just have to get one of each to try!!!

This place is a gem!
Stopped by Cajun Bowling Spot and the food was excellent. The jalapeño hush puppies with queso were outstanding, the homemade onion rings were perfectly crispy, and my shrimp salad was really good.
The seafood boil was packed with corn, potatoes, sausage, and a crab cluster, and the extra crab legs on the side were cooked perfectly.
Friendly staff, a comfortable seating area, and authentic Cajun food. We’ll definitely be back!

The food was great! We had the fried shrimp tacos and a small bag plate. We also picked up the hush puppy appetizers and Cajun cheese curds! They were also great. Over all it was great and “the porch” looks great! It’s wonderful to see for sure! A great stop in Atmore!

I was working in this area and my coworker and I decided to give this place a try. I had the fish poboy and it was absolutely delicious! The fries even were amazing! The lady that waited on us was very sweet. Id definitely recommend!

We had an exceptional experience thanks to our outstanding waiter, who was incredibly polite and courteous throughout our visit. It’s rare to encounter such attentive and well-mannered service these days. The food was absolutely delicious…. truly outstanding! The restaurant itself was spotless, and the inviting atmosphere inside made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely make a point to return whenever I’m in the area again!
