I don’t write reviews often but I had to after today’s visit. This was my first time at the cafe and I’ll definitely be coming back. I had the Cafe Burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long, long time. I loved the balance of flavors in each bite with the caramelized onions, homemade pickles, and their handcrafted sauce. They source organic ingredients from farmers markets and their own garden. Lily showed me around the cafe and pointed out different plants they grow and use. The staff were kind and hardworking. The atmosphere was great too with the music playing and the decorations on all the walls.

I love downtown Benicia and never knew about this hidden gem! It is a B&B but the cafe is open for all. There is so many different seating options the large windows with the natural light peering in makes the atmosphere feel fresh and summery. As a vegetarian my options can be limited but the chef was happy to customize the breakfast plate and substitute the bacon for avocado. The eggs, potatoes, toast, and avocado made for such a delicious breakfast! The highlight for me was definitely the iced lavender coffee. Our waiter, Toby, was so friendly and took the time to share that the lavender used for the coffee is fresh lavender from their garden! He also shared that the produce used it fresh from the Benicia farmers market! My boyfriend got the Cafe Burger and substituted the salad for potatoes. He got it medium rare and said it had a nice crunchy exterior. Bf’s words: “tastes homemade” which it is! They also have jazz nights on Friday’s. There is also local art for sale on the walls, love that. Definitely recommend stopping by for brunch!

My husband and I recently had The Cafe at the Inn cater our one-year anniversary party for 60 guests at the Inn’s courtyard. The food was a standout highlight. We had quite a few guests come to tell us on the event day how fresh and delicious the food was.
We came to Chef Kyle with a budget in mind. He was chill, flexible, and communicative. He was able to meet us where we wanted to be, crafting a menu that was seasonable and delicious. The catering staff were wonderful too. They were super communicative and supportive on the event day.
For great food and a professional catering experience, The Cafe at the Inn is the only choice. We give them our high recommendation.

Wow. Just wow. I cannot express the passion that comes through the food. The owner came out and spoke to us and it all made sense. A wonderful farm to table restaurant, great staff and phenomenal food. Wonderful wine.

This is a BNB in an old renovated building with tables in various places you order food at a counter and take a number on a stand to your table and the food is delivered to you when it’s ready. The menu includes things like breakfast sandwiches with eggs in your style a.d sausage, soups, a quiche, salads and more. They serve until 4PM. There are tables outside in a pleasantly landscaped yard and a front yard in which there been parties and a wedding. The staff is friendly and the is good. There is street parking and there are steps.

Freshest, crunchiest salad on earth was perfectly dresses with light dressing and salt. Espresso was perfect. Quiche was so good I went back for lunch (seafood bisque w large pieces of shrimp). High quality ingredients all around. Great café to work on your laptop. Lady behind the counter (manager? owner?) is welcoming and attentive. She played cool music too, made me want to stay all day long. I’ll be back!

One of the Best tuna melts I’ve ever had, the tuna mix itself is fairly basic but it’s done exceptionally well. The rye bread is the best bread I’ve had. Just come on down and give it a try, workers are super friendly too
