Beautiful spot in downtown Westerly that feels a little unassuming from the outside. Once you walk into The Café, you’re immediately greeted by friendly hosts and a warm, inviting space filled with artwork, smoky mirrors, and an open kitchen concept. We sat at the bar, and our bartender/server, Tom, was attentive and incredibly knowledgeable about both the cocktails and the menu. Chef Jordan has made some great updates to the menu here and it’s clear he takes pride in his craft. We had hamachi Collar, the tuna app and pork belly all of which were so delicious and beautifully plated. The chicken and dumplings and meatloaf were our entree choices and we were pleased with those as well. This visit honestly exceeded my expectations and I’d go back for sure. Such a great experience — highly recommend!

We happen to stumble along this spot and are extremely happy we did. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and felt completely welcomed. The atmosphere and service was just unmatched. The food was perfectly crafted. I highly recommend this place!

We’ve been wanting to try The Cafe and finally went on a Monday. They have a special that includes $10 burgers (& fries) and $5 wines or beers (any on the menu). We were blown away by the burgers and fries and really appreciated that we could choose any wine on the menu. We can’t wait to return to try some of their mains. The atmosphere was cozy with a great bar and a roaring fire. The host (perhaps the owner) greeted us and was super friendly. Our waitress was great. We highly recommend and are so glad we tried it! One note, the fireplace is towards the back of the dining room, so as we walked up it appeared dead inside – we actually thought about not going in. But the crowd was at the bar and around the fire – don’t hesitate to go in!

I can’t say enough good things about the Cafe! We hosted a birthday party here and it did not disappoint! First off, the staff is fantastic. Both Stephen and David were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond making the party exactly what we were looking for. The servers were so attentive and really made the party run smoothly, each of them were truly great. Second to the staff, the food was AMAZING. I am still thinking about the pork belly and tuna appetizers weeks later. The atmosphere itself is a 10/10 – perfect location, beautiful decor and overall great vibe. Can’t wait to go back!

Visiting from Oklahoma and found on Google. We loved everything about this place. Deviled eggs, oysters, burger and French dip were fantastic. Our waitress was amazing too. Will definitely return someday when we’re back this way.

WOW. This was truly an incredible dinner. Standout favorites: the fried artichokes, clam chowder and the sticky toffee pudding. Omg. I am also gluten free and they were excellent with the gluten allergy, most menu items can be made GF!!! The manager even came over to answer some questions we had for ingredients and was so kind! 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Chicken sandwich was to die for. So delicious! The burger was good but I regretted not ordering the chicken once I had a bite of my husbands. The drinks were also so good! The oysters were perfect. Our waitress Macy was also very attentive and sweet. Great lunch experience!

Overall this place is fine but I’m not in a hurry to go back. Can’t exactly say why: the food was fine but not perfect. I got the café burger which was tasty, but the bourbon-bacon jam that came smothered over it kind of ruined the experience. The bottom bun became saturated with it, so every time you’d pick it up your hands are covered in sauce. The accompanying fries were nothing better than you’d get at a million other places. My wife enjoyed the steak, but said it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Two drinks and two dinners equated to around $120.
Hits: we were seated right away on a Saturday night, attentive staff, decent atmosphere, tastefully decorated and the espresso martini was far better than some other local restaurants.
Misses: comes close to a 5-star restaurant in my book but does little to set itself apart from other area restaurants, which is what a 5-star place should be.

The food was amazing. I really recommend the hamachi collar and new special with the duck.
I recommend having Brittany or Elena as your server, they are extremely kind and sweet. This place is amazing especially the drinks!!! And Tom and david are great!!!
