First time here, definitely not the last. We were seated by the owner who asked right away if we’d dined there before. He checked to see if anyone had food allergies and then started describing the menu.
He did this to every table that came under and followed up as did our waitress. The prices are very reasonable and the quality and quantity of food was excellent. Steak tips were cooked to my liking which was rare and the scallops were not over cooked. Plus the chowder was a rich and creamy white base that the spoon stood straight up in the cup and was full of claws and flavor. Great job.

This was our first time visiting The Cabin Restaurant, and we were very impressed. I was especially happy with their gluten-free menu—onion rings, fried calamari, and even the fish and chips were all gluten free and absolutely delicious. And I have to say that makes me very happy, because there isn’t a whole lot of resturants that serves GF. AlsoLefty Beth had the chicken parm, and she said it was very delicious. We will definitely be going back! The service was spot on, love the atmosphere inside very cozy and family oriented. Even the patrons were friendly.

GLUTEN FREE DREAM!!!!!!
This is a small towny restaurant – it’s actually very small ha, but in a cute cabin-like way. The owner, John, came to introduce himself and tell us about the menu. He has been gluten-free for the last 25+ years and understands the importance of gluten-free items on the menu. He said that all, but four items on the menu are either naturally gluten-free or could be made gluten-free. They have a gluten-free only section in the kitchen that is separated from the rest and they do their absolute best effort at avoiding cross contamination. Raquel our waitress was super sweet and attentive as well.
Their mud pie dessert has GF Oreo cookies! DELICIOUS. We ordered fried oysters, calamari, lobster penne vodka, and surf and turf with friend clam strips. OMG DELICIOUS. I have been so limited for so long as someone with celiac disease and I finally found a place I could peacefully enjoy fried foods at!

The potatoe skins and Buffalo Chicken was excellent, and then I had the chicken broccoli Alfredo which was also very good. The drinks and the service was also great. I would highly recommend this place.

We went for the first time last night. We were greated by the owner.he genuinely was interested in how we heard about the place. Told us about himself and the menu. It is rare I get to order anything on the menu (I’m celiac) and not have any issues. I have not had food that good in 20 years! There was so much i will have left overs for days. Our server, Ana was wonderful. Great experience. It sure won’t be out last time! Worth the 45 minute drive!

Charming and absolutely beautiful place. The food was fantastic and our service was wonderful. They are very busy and rightfully so. We made reservations, but I don’t know if it’s something you have to do. They also offer a wide variety of food and a huge variety of food for people with gluten allergies etc. Definitely check them out!

My experience was a 10/10 from the service to the atmosphere. I hardly get a day off and I decided to drive 30 min after hearing about this place for awhile . Alexandra was my server and boy did she seal the deal I’ll definitely be returning. I decided to get the mango infused Martini and I wasn’t disappointed. The ceaser salad was one of the best ive had with the in house made dressing. Then to put the cherry on the cake the trio came out and I couldn’t put down my fork . Over all this place is great and worth the drive and price. All the staff was so friendly. My server checked in with me several times to make sure I had everything I needed . Never seemed annoyed when I asked for things. It’s the kind of place you can sit at and unwind on a day off

Incredibly positive experience here – many Celiacs disease safe options. This is why we went to The Cabin and we were blown away by how many gluten free and Celiacs safe options they have. Special thanks to John and Amanda specifically but you can tell the whole staff is great! Special place – go visit for yourself.

This place was very clean and neat. We were greeted and seated immediately (it was early though). I ordered fish and chips and my husband ordered a fisherman’s platter. The food was very fresh and cooked perfectly! Wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. I think my favorite thing was the forward question of “does anyone have food allergies?” Worth the price ($20-25 a plate).

dined on a Sunday 2pm, no wait on seating or service. extremely happy with the quality of the food, and the overall service from our waitress as well as the bar. ( even for a Sunday it quickly started to fill with guests after our arrival – service did now slow down)

appetizers- lobster arancini
loaded potato skin
entrée- rib eye speak special with mushroom demiglace
chicken sandwich with Chipotle mayo and house chips
from start to finish, drinks and food were up to the high standard I hold establishments. the rib eye was also perfectly cooked and a big indicator of how ill rate or review a restaurant, and a general baseline!
will be back to try other menu options!!
