This is the Chris McCandless bar! Any of you who have not read the book and watched the movie, do so! Sad story but still unreal that such a small town in SD was made famous by the antics of a young traveler in the early 90s. I wonder if anyone who knew Chris is still around to tell the story..

Had the hamburger steak medium it was smashed flat and dry my wife had grilled chicken melt she said it was dry and over cooked. One of our guys at the table didn’t even get his garlic mashed potatoes . Salad bar was ok but pretty picked over for for being 6::00 on a Saturday evening ! Drinks were good and cold !

The Cabaret is one of my new favorite places to go on Fridays and Saturdays. Amazing burgers and great atmosphere. Come on in and grab a seat the wait is never long. Holidays and events get pretty busy so Make a reservation for big groups!

The food is great and tasty and people are nice and welcoming .nice things to look at and the history that comes along with it ..keep up the good work y’all doing great ..and the management is awesome could be happier to have a place to walk into and feel welcomed .

Super yummy!!!! Our first time there. Will definitely be back. People were warm, friendly, and patient. It was preferable to have a reservation on a holiday weekend, they still accepted our party of 6 without the reservation! Great food!
