Love with this place everything was great! I mean everything! The food came out at a pretty decent time, with a wide variety of flavor profiles it was all really seasoned well and balanced perfectly! I had the Mahimahi and it’s honestly the best i had in Minneapolis. The drinks were beautiful and the dessert were just delicious!! The staff were very attentive and lovely, knows how to have small talk, she was super sweet and nice and still professional. Loved the atmosphere we went for a friend’s birthday and had a great time. Highly recommend for anytime occasions and very spacious!

The Club has been opened since January 2025. We (4 adults) decided to get brunch here after reading some good reviews. The service is good (our server Alexis did a great job). The location cannot be beat: great view of the Mississippi River and spacious layout of the place. The restaurant menu is a bit too ambitious: the Waffle was ok, the Breakfast Noodles was bland (I get better panfried noddles at other Asian restaurants), the American Breakfast was just so so, and the Arepa Benedict was just good. We’d come back during the warm weather to soak in the drinks and the views from the patio or inside, the foods are just not memorable.

Lovely new spot by the river! The location, atmosphere, and service are superb. I arrived shortly before my partner and the host stand remembered me by name and directed my partner to the table. Our server Jem stopped by right away and was super attentive throughout dinner. She had excellent recommendations and we enjoyed chatting about the menu with her. Great energy and service from all of the staff! Everything we ordered was delicious and we felt the recipes were unique and inventive. I was especially surprised and delighted but the tamal that came with the pork chop. We’ll definitely be back and we’re excited to try more of the menu.

So happy Cabana Club has brought a great restaurant to one of Minneapolis’s best locations. The patio and backdrop alone make this an excellent experience. I hope it continues to stay packed. The happy hour and general prices were generous.

It was a busy week night but service was pretty tough. Honestly we didn’t mind because it was a nice night and the manager acknowledged they were struggling a bit that night which was a professional gesture.

The food was good! The Cubana sandwich and the Shaved Vegetable salad were the highlights. The salad concept was unique and delicious. The sandwich was crispy, decadent, and gooey. I didn’t care for the crispy garbanzo beans or the flank steak dish. The bed of kimchi and mushrooms for the steak looked pretty but was a bit odd flavored. The Paella arancini was solid.

Overall I’ll definitely come back and try more of the menu and enjoy the amazing patio!

I was visiting from out of town and this was the first place we tried. It’s apparently a new spot on the river and did not disappoint. The people watching, food, and drinks were top tier.

Perfect spot for a fun meet up with friends. Had a group of 7 so got the opportunity to try a lot of things.

Their drink menu is amazing with an extensive selection of spirits. We tried the orange rose which was crisp and with the perfect amount of citrus notes. I also had their Mexico City cocktail and everyone at the table loved it. Perfectly balanced between sweet, smoky, and salty. So good that the high proof sneaks up on you. A must order.

Food wise, you really can’t go wrong.

Of the items we tried, I personally loved the papaya salad the most. It surprisingly came with a decent amount of heat but still bright, acidic, and refreshing.

The chorizo arancini balls were also delicious and so were the tin fish, sprouts, and cauliflower.

There were many other items on the menu like brisket pho and the desserts that looked amazing too but didn’t get to try. Would definitely come back if I’m ever back in Minneapolis.

Last night, my friend and I got to try out The Cabana Club, which recently opened on St. Anthony Main. I had been intrigued due to their description of being a travel-inspired haven. The atmosphere upon entrance was very relaxing, big windows filled the room with light, the walls were warm-toned with wood accents, and big plants were throughout the space.

We were greeted immediately after getting seated and ordered the ‘Mini Mart’ off the Happy Hour menu and the ‘Ibiza’ from the Specialty Drinks menu, which is nicely organized by proof. To start, we ordered the Butter Board, which was our favorite, served with focaccia and popovers along with the chef’s selection of butter. On this day, it was Mushroom, Tomato, and Orange, bringing a wide range of flavors. We also ordered the Curry Cauliflower, and it was okay; a nice portion for sharing.

We tried out the Wild Mushroom Fettuccine, which was nice, and had a generous portion of mushrooms. The Caesar Salad was good with croutons that held a nice smoky taste; it would have benefited from more dressing, since some pieces felt dry. The American Smash was juicy and delicious on a soft bun. I ordered an Espresso Martini. It was a little disappointing; next time, I would go with one of their craft specialty drinks instead.

For dessert we went with the Fryjacks, served with a coconut and sesame sauce, these weren’t our favorite, they were plain and the sauce lacked flavor, on the other hand, the Chocolate Mousse Cake was rich and flavorful served with a delicious scoop of vanilla ice cream, a sweet way to end the night.

In the beginning, we were given great service, and all of our menu questions were answered thoroughly, yet throughout our stay, we didn’t feel like the service was the best; it was extremely slow, and we felt forgotten about. We were relaxed, but we were constantly waiting for the next step since time would drag, to get our order taken or to receive items, upwards of 40 minutes at times, making our time there lengthy.

Overall, I would love to give The Cabana Club another try, especially by enjoying the view on their beautiful patio this summer.

Beautiful restaurant, great food, and friendly staff! We were sat very quickly outside and my husband tried the Mexico City and Tulum drink. He liked them both but said the Mexico City was his favorite. I tried a NA drink with strawberries and mint and it was delicious. Would highly recommend the Cubano from the handheld section and the pork chop from the entrees. We definitely will be back to try out more of their menu. Service was slow but the waitstaff were very friendly. In their defense it was a busy night and the speed of service actually reminded us of our trip to Spain and some of the menu items were Spain influenced so we had fun reminiscing.

This place is a perfect patio spot for the summer months. It’s right on the river with great views of the downtown skyline and a covered patio that provides a ton of shade. The interior has great theming and offers a lot of indoor seating.
The food is fantastic! Tons of flavor, vibrant toppings, and plenty of options. The drink
Menu is also similar to a craft cocktail bar. Two thumbs up!
