Food presentation – phenomenal.
Decor is so beautiful. Fresh flowers everywhere add such a beautiful touch.
The bar is stunning and bartenders are super super friendly and great servers! Excellent wine choices – One of the best Reislings i have had in a very long time!
Decor is beautiful – so many nice touches alllll around the restaurant and hallways.
Bathrooms are decent but can use an upgrade – and the water on the floor of the toilets was a bit puzzling – and not very safe. The greatest observation was the need for towels. I understand environmental concerns but what about washable ones? The hand dryers let out freezing cold air and the water is freezing – a horrible combination
Food was good – not as great as I was expecting based on reviews and prices.
Butternut soup was very tasty (but cold )
Salads were excellent – very fresh!
My friends enjoyed their steak and said meat was very tender.
My salmon was just okay – but presented beautifully.
Mac n cheese – excellent and brussel sprouts were crunchy and flavorful.
Overall ambience is AMAZING! 5 star just for views…
Some adjustments are needed in bathroom and food would make it a solid 5.
I attended this $300 New Year’s Eve rooftop event expecting an upscale hospitality experience. What I received instead was standing-room access with poor service execution. While the venue and view were beautiful, the fundamentals of hospitality were missing.
⭐ Atmosphere: 5 / 5
The skyline, lighting, and setting were stunning. The space itself has real potential and looks premium.
⭐ Food Quality: 4 / 5
When food appeared, the quality was good (seafood, prime rib, caviar). However, access was extremely limited. Only two hors d’oeuvres trays circulated the entire time I was there, which is unacceptable for an event of this size and price.
⭐ Beverage Program (Open Bar): 0 / 5
This was the biggest failure.
No champagne greeting on arrival
No champagne or prosecco circulating on trays
Guests forced to stand in long bar lines
Drinks made one-by-one despite a very small cocktail menu
Confusion around what was included in the “open bar”
It did not feel like a New Year’s Eve celebration. Champagne is a core ritual of NYE, and its absence completely broke the experience.
⭐ Service & Hospitality: 1 / 5
No servers circulating with drinks
No proactive service
Guests had to manage themselves
Staff appeared understaffed and constrained
Luxury hospitality removes friction. This event added it.
⭐ Value for Price: 0 / 5
For $300 per person:
There were no seats for general admission
Guests were expected to eat plated food while standing
No surfaces to place food or drinks
The same experience could have been achieved for under $200 ordering à la carte elsewhere — with seating, better service, and less confusion
Final Verdict
This event felt like paying for rooftop access, not a hosted experience. The organizers prioritized margin over guest comfort, and it showed. Even modest investments — such as circulating champagne, batched cocktails, additional servers, or basic seating zones — would have dramatically improved the night.
Will I return?
No.
Would I recommend this event to others at $300?
Absolutely not.
If you’re considering this, you’d be better off:
paying a lower entry fee elsewhere
ordering your own food and drinks
sitting comfortably
tipping generously
and leaving with money still in your pocket
This was a one-star experience priced as five-star.
What an amazing experience. The General Manager and his outstanding team made us feel welcome from the start. They surprised us with a romantic sweetheart table in the corner window.
Our waitress was phenomenal: warm, attentive, spot-on with recommendations, and full of thoughtful touches that made the night unforgettable. The whole staff worked seamlessly with genuine hospitality and professionalism.
The food, cocktails, and atmosphere were top- notch, but the exceptional service truly shone.
Thank you to the GM and team for an outstanding night—one of our best in Baltimore. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend.
