We sampled several bakeries before finally choosing The Butterstick, and it was the almond cupcake that sealed the deal. It tasted just like my mother’s almond cake, and that is my daughter’s favorite. For our event, we ordered a variety of cupcakes along with a small cake for the couple, and everything was amazing. Each flavor was distinct and delicious without being too sweet or overwhelming.
The bakery handled delivery perfectly—everything arrived in beautiful condition, with the cupcakes packaged well and the cake looking stunning. Since they offer specialty cakes, we asked if a sugar-free option was possible, and they absolutely delivered! It meant a lot to us that all our guests, including those with dietary restrictions, could join in the celebration. (After sampling, I couldn’t tell the difference!) One guest was even brought to tears because we had the option available.
Since the event, I’ve had several guests tell me they’ve become customers because of those incredible cupcakes. Highly recommend The Butterstick for any special occasion!

I had this bakery make food for my baby shower. We ordered a blueberry lemon cake, 4 dozen sugar cookies, chicken salad Croissants, sausage balls, lil smokies and a cheeseball. When I say this cake was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had… whew! They used real Blueberries and it had the perfect texture. They matched my reference photos and did amazing with the other dishes. The savory chicken salad Croissants and cheese ball is a must have for any event! The customer service was amazing as well. I would highly recommend this bakery

We had my daughter’s wedding reception at The Hive (owned by same person). We ordered chicken and dressing, green beans, and Mac and cheese, rolls from the butterstick bakery. The dressing was dry and tasted awful! The Mac and cheese was just one big clump. She had no food warmers for the food. She said we didn’t ask for them. I thought that was given. But I was wrong. I was overcharged. I’m the one that caught it. Brought it to her attention, offered a refund, but absolutely no apology for that.
She did offer a apology when I told her about the food. Offered a store credit, I declined because the food was that bad. I will never use her services again.

I had a wedding in the venue that they rent out called the hive. We had the food provided by the Bakery we got chicken and dressing with Mac and cheese and green beans the dressing was very dry, Mac and cheese was clumps the green beans where alright. No warmers plates aren’t provided napkins or silverware. We had 25 guest and 4 pans of dressing only one pan was ate no one liked it all tried texting owner about problem and she acted like it was all are fault because of miscommunication but she wasn’t very helpful on explaining services provided. Will never go there again if you use her make sure you are very very very pacific on what all you want because she will not ask or suggest.

Went to the tulip farm event on 4-5-25, just wanted to let you know that I’m a picky eater, that broccoli salad, strawberry jello dessert was FABULOUS!!! I live in New Market, I don’t know if I’m happy or sad we’re so far apart.
