O M G !!!! Yum scrum dilly a umptious I highly recommend the buttered biscut. Though it’s more like whipped butter cornbread. I ordered a bloody Mary that came even more impressive than the pictures I saw online. It was hilarious and made right delicious also. I took my waitresses advice and ordered the Hot chicken and Grits which was out of this world. I didn’t dare eat the whole thing. The next days leftovers somehow even better than the first meal. I wish I had time to check out more of the tiny town this restaurant was in. It was quaint and cute. A good size town and obviously great places to eat with the Buttered Biscut being there. I rather liked the cozy ambiance. Kind of rustic and laid back. Clean and open also. They allowed me to work on my computer and stay a while which I really appreciated. 5 stars, a full belly and a little bit closer to demise with how rich the food is. Got here around 10, place was already bustling and only getting busier. Really interesting decor, kinda reminded us of a bar but was cute. A little dark in some areas, plus my husbands head eclipsing the light, so I almost had to pull the classic boomer move of using the phone flashlight to read the menu, but my young eyes prevailed.
We got a coffee and a strawberry lemonade to start. Unexpectedly and comically large cup of regular diner coffee. The lemonade was very good and nicely balanced. Not too sweet, but not overly tart. It didn’t leave me feeling like a complete raisin like how many lemonades do. The cornbread slice we got was so good, we kept fighting for the extra buttery spots. The lemon glaze on it was good, but we personally could’ve done with a little less of it. We got the strawberry crepes and the trainwreck scramble. Strawberry crepes just weren’t my jam. My issue was with the inside filling. The crepe itself was cooked perfectly! The trainwreck was delicious and it was huge, we couldn’t finish it after eating it together. The chicken fried steak was so good, I kept trying to find bits of it with the gravy. At most places the potatoes are pretty mid, but their potatoes and in combination with the gravy was super satisfying and they were cooked really nicely.
The employees were doing a great job, even with it being very very busy.

Stopped in before work expecting a fast breakfast, but it ended up being a longer visit in the best way possible because the food and service were incredible. This is the kind of quality you just do not get from a typical fast food spot. The atmosphere was cute and cozy, Jayden was an amazing server, shout out to her. I ordered the chicken and bacon wrap and it was bigger than expected, in a very good way. I will definitely be coming back, 10 out of 10 recommend.

Went to this gem 6 am on a Saturday and it was perfect. We were the first ones there, the waitress was friendly and prompt, checked on us often. The food was great, giant portions. Corn bread was the chefs kiss. The place quickly filled, as expected and the service maintained the same. Loved it, will definitely return.

This place is excellent! We went here at 5 PM on a Friday and were so pleasantly surprised at how welcoming and kind all the staff were! They had a whole gluten free menu, vegetarian options, and a HUGE selection of food. The beignets were SO good and the cornbread was to die for.

Great atmosphere, hidden hole-in-a-wall gem, and yummy comfort food. If you’re looking for a relaxing and wonderful dining experience, you must try this local Sumner eatery. This is one of our favorite breakfast spots we drive about an hour just to come here and it’s generally worth it each time! The That’s all folks is my favorite!!! My husband is a chicken fried steak guy and says it’s great. Often will have lunch leftovers after breakfast. Worth the try if your in the area or otherwise!!

The service is very good. Customer service downstairs was amazing. I feel like upstairs you get the waiters that’s on probation. They not sure what they are doing and kind of winging it.Hoping to provide good enough service.One thing I would definitely suggest that they try keeping the bathroom door closed upstairs. Eating next to tge bathroom is unclean the door being open while people eat is so unsanitary. But over all the portion sizes are two extra days worth of food and it’s cooked with straight up country comfort food love. This place is definitely a return spot for me!

My girl from the south had to call her brother who’s in LA to tell him about the grits she said she hasn’t had them that good unless she’s made them herself so again the food, staff, and vibes you get from being here is unforgettable and will have you coming back
