Our server, Sandra, was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome without being overbearing. They kept everything moving smoothly and were happy to offer recommendations. The manager, Tahney, also stopped by to check on us, which added a nice personal touch and showed how much they care about their guests’ experience.
The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. Overall, incredible food, outstanding service, and a memorable atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
Our boys wanted French toast. The kids’ French Toast comes with a drink but does not come with a protein, so we ordered the French Toast Feast for our boys to share. The meal comes with two slices of French toast, three strips of bacon, and two eggs. It was the perfect size for them to split.
My husband ordered the Breakfast Burrito, which he really enjoyed. He likes heat with flavor, which is what this dish presents. I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy and loved every bite. I like my eggs over medium – whites fully cooked, runny yolk – and most places either overcook them or undercook them. These eggs were cooked perfectly. My potatoes were too heavily peppered, but everything was delicious overall.
The atmosphere is clean, bright, open, and inviting. It is family friendly, which we always look for, with three little ones. Our waitress, Sarah, was incredible. She provided excellent care and service from the moment we walked in. Our boys enjoyed her presence and would have stayed to continue their conversation with her, had it not been closing time!
We will definitely be back.
Went on Wednesday morning for breakfast, so they were not busy.
Overall, I thought this was a really well laid out breakfast spot! I enjoyed the seating arrangement had good spacing.
Went with the group of coworkers and we all ordered something different .
For the appetizers, we got the cinnamon beignets that were quite delicious!
Service was quick and accurate.
We started with the “pigs in a biscuit.” The portion was small, and my first bite was disappointing—the biscuit tasted microwaved, almost like it had been reheated from earlier. A second biscuit was better, but still underwhelming. The real standout was the mustard sauce, which had great balance and tang, but unfortunately it couldn’t fully save the dish.
The entrées were mixed. The gravy had depth and flavor, but the potatoes were bland and lacked the crispiness you’d expect. The eggs were forgettable—nothing bad, but nothing special. The biscuits themselves were decent, but not remarkable enough to live up to the name of the restaurant.
Overall, the meal felt average at best, and the pricing doesn’t match the experience. Buttered Biscuit has the atmosphere and potential, but the execution in the kitchen just didn’t deliver. I left unimpressed and wouldn’t go out of my way to return.
