There is inside and outside seating. Parking seems difficult.
They forgot to put cheese and arugula which were in the description.
Instead of an actual avocado I got a tiny spread of avocado sauce.
The bread slices are kids size.
Pretty much just got some sauce, a slice of tomato and a “rice bacon”.
Thought they must be joking.
Never ever in NY have I seen a more laughable sandwich.
Kitchen quality controls? – never heard of it…
– 2 booster shots: our server forgot the order, so we got them at the end. I had this kind of shot before, but their shots were very good. 10/10
– Daily Soup: came in big bowl so we just share it 8/10
– Gem Salad: interesting taste 8/10
– Spicy Kale Caesar: crunchy and delicious 9/10
Funny story about how I know this restaurant. I live in the neighborhood, and I always walk my dog around the area. I saw this restaurant had open space and seats on the sidewalk with very natural tree and plants decorated all around. I just loved it and one time I was hanging out with another group of friends that weren’t vegan. We were hungry and want to eat somewhere and I brought them here 🙂 After my non vegan friend saw the menu in front of the restaurant, she made fun of me then we went somewhere else. I still wanted to try the food here but didn’t have chance to come since ppl around me only eat meat. So, this was a great time because I had a vegetarian friend came visited and I DID IT!
This might just be nostalgia talking but I feel like the overall quality and consistency has dipped significantly over the years. Tempeh is totally unseasoned (as if they sliced and cooked it with nothing added) and specialty lattes are light on the add-ins like turmeric. Sometimes the zucchini carbonara is so bland that it tastes like absolutely nothing but milky raw zucchini. I’ve had almost all these dishes at their best so I know what they’re supposed to taste like. I also used to come here for quality homemade almond milk lattes but now they use pretty basic ingredients / boxed milks.

I had such a great experience at The Butcher’s Daughter in Williamsburg! The atmosphere is bright, cozy, and beautifully designed — it feels welcoming the moment you walk in. It’s the perfect spot for brunch or a relaxed lunch with friends.
The service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful with recommendations. Overall, it’s a great place if you’re looking for healthy, delicious food in a stylish setting. I’ll definitely be coming back!
It’s the kind of place that works for any occasion—brunch with friends, a solo coffee, or dinner and drinks. The space is beautiful without trying too hard, and the staff is always kind. If you’re local, you probably already know this place is solid. And if you’re visiting, it’s a great mix of good design, great food, and a chill vibe.
I was a bit disappointed by the veggie burger, I would say far too thick and the chips a bit too hard!
The bread of the mushrooms toast must have been toasted a bit better!
The waffles were to die for and amazingly good as Gluten free and vegan alternative!!!
