Leading the kitchen is Joey Stallings, who steps into the role of Executive Chef for the Alpharetta location after previously serving as Director of Culinary for IEHG.

My husband and I checked out The Butcher and Bottle and WOW this place delivers. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the time and effort that went into every detail. The staff was amazing, knowledgeable and engaged for the entire experience. We loved everything we tried. It’s genuinely great food and great vibe all around. Picture below is elk carpaccio, tuna stack, filet, seafood pasta and amazing sides. Chef Joey is phenomenal with years of experience, you can tell he put his heart and soul into building this unforgettable menu. Highly recommend.

I got the ribeye, steak tartar, and tuna tar tar. It was all excellent, some of the best tar tar I’ve had. They have a unique signature cocktail menu, we tried everything but the martinis, all were delicious, I really recommend their signature ranch water, it’s sweeter than a traditional ranch water but really really good. Our waiter was Logan who made lots of great recommendations. Logan recommended the truffle cheesecake at the end of the meal which we took to go and it was rich and terrific.
The pricing was not bad at all in terms of a classy steak house, the steak was on par with places we normally pay 50% more for the same cuts.
I would have taken more pictures but it was a great atmosphere to eat and drink with friends so I didn’t spend much time shooting pics.

We stopped in here for Friday evening cocktails and dinner and could not have been more pleased! The atmosphere is perfection – it smell smells heavenly the minute you walk in, beautifully decorated, warm cozy contemporary atmosphere. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were top shelf! I had the seared salmon over the orchard salad and it was divine! My friend had a burger, which he touted as one of the best he’s ever had, and my other friend had the tuna stack – so fresh and delicious! Chef Joey stopped by to make sure everything was perfect, and it was! We will be back, no doubt! Highly recommend!

We had a fabulous dinner with friends. From the bread service to the perfectly prepared steaks and fish, every course was wonderful. The dining area strikes a perfect balance. Open and airy, yet intimate with lovely decor. We topped off the evening with a delicious peanut butter pie bar. We’ll definitely be back.

Such a beautiful space with reclaimed huge beams from a south GA mill. The food and service matches the ambiance. We had fried oysters with a house made hot sauce that you can swim in. Possible best I’ve had in my life. Wife had filet with a chimichurri 10/10. I had the lamb and the burger (both incredible) and I have no regrets so Don’t judge me.

Decided to come here based off of the beef cheek we saw in the menu. Starting, the two gentlemen that greeted us were super nice and welcoming. Once sat our server, Andie, was very knowledgeable and personable. We got a grapefruit gimlet that was reminiscent of a homemade red berry jam, delicious! The beef cheek is braised beyond tender, with tons of wine flavor and served atop of luxurious stone ground grits and some of the best collard greens this side of the Mississippi.

My fiancé and I came here for our Valentine’s Day. I was blown away by the level of service. The hosts were engaged and friendly. Our server Andi (I hope I spelled it right) was so nice and had all the answers for us. The food was delicious and cooked exactly how we wanted. Everything was so right for us. Great new addition to downtown Alpharetta! The food and service were both excellent! There are reserved parking spots for restaurant customers which is also nice. I particularly loved the flavorful salads and vegetables sides.
