The Busted Cup Brewhouse fare is inspired by German-Bavarian heritage and cuisine with an American twist. On the menu you will find some authentic Bavarian fare, but the majority consists of Bavarian fare with American influence. The Busted Cup specializes in entrees that are rare finds in our area, aiming to elevate them through enhancement and refinement. At The Busted Cup Brewhouse, we craft our own beers in-house with dedication to authenticity. Inspired by European brewing traditions, we spare no effort. Our brewer’s grain is cultivated in Europe and imported, while our yeasts are exclusively European strains. Carefully selected hops mirror the flavor profiles of European small-town brews.

Stopped for a late lunch. Service was great. Food was delicious, some plates with very large servings! Bacon flight was delicious and a fun appetizer. Dining room clean and very well kept. All around a great find.

I photographed a wedding here last weekend and it was my first time to the area. First of all, this brewhouse sits in the heart of the cutest downtown district! It’s less than a block from Snake Alley and easily walkable to so many fun and unique alleys/backgrounds for photos. Secondly, the staff was so kind and accommodating. We used the wine bottle wall for family photos and they were so helpful with moving tables and a portable heater so that the area was cleared (and even kept other guests off the patio for the short time we were using it). The food was delicious and the water was delightfully cold (I was working so I didn’t try any alcohol, lol.) It’s an absolutely adorable venue space on the second floor with beautiful apartment suites on the third floor, making the entire experience so easy and accessible.

Busted Cup has a nice atmosphere, and I loved that there were games for the kids to enjoy after ordering. We were there over the weekend during lunch hours and it was Family-friendly. The bacon and sausage flights were great! The entrées are on the pricier side, but good too. The beer selection was solid. Overall, worth checking out if you’re in the area!

My best friend brought us here to celebrate a Friday night together and it did not disappoint one bit!! Got to enjoy the Iowa game on TV and I had some of the best fish that I’ve ever had!! Incredible meals, and a great time with friends and family!! Highly highly recommended!!

First time visiting this restaurant. The service was good but not great even though it wasn’t that busy. Ordered the lamb stew and the potato soup for appetizers. They came out hot and delicious. Than came our entrees. All of them were just warm, not even towards the hot side. The French dip was very good. I had the schnitzel. Not a traditional at all but we’ll made and tasty. The spatz and cheese was ok. Overall disappointed in our experience here. For the price you would at least expect hot food.

Dined on the wonderful back patio, it was a perfect summer evening with a light breeze. Delicious drinks. Scrumptious meals. Sampled multiple sides and none disappointed. Fantastic service. I did have reservations as this is a popular restaurant. Don’t forget to visit the inside store before you leave.

servers are friendly. Prices are too high for quality. Food running out and taking way too long. It wasn’t packed , they were understanding and gave a discount but we still paid 100 bill for two eating and drinks. Still unlikely that I will be back or recommend to others.

This is a fantastic new restaurant in Buingron. This spacious, bright, cleverly decorated dining area creates a great ambiance for the food that is to come. The service is top shelf, efficient, and friendly. The food is great, and the German fare is done nearly to perfection. The appetizers also do not disappoint. It is pricy, but what isn’t? I highly recommend the Busted Cup!

My wife and I stopped into Burlington, IA on way home. We wanted to drive Snake Alley. While in the town, we decided to drive around to check it out. We stumbled across this brewery and decided to stop. We split the pretzel, beer cheese and a flight of beers. The pretzel was standard. Beer cheese was fantastic. The beer was really good. The atmosphere was nice and servers were top notch. We would come back for sure.
