Next, we split the Burrow Burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, while the fries were crisp and just the right amount of sweet. Our guests ordered the roasted corn salad with redfish and the fresh Gulf catch plate — both were big hits. The beer selection was excellent, with generous pours served cold in a classy stein.
For dessert, we couldn’t resist the honey lavender crème brûlée — smooth and flavorful — a nice finish to the meal. The outdoor seating, with its wooden picnic tables and twinkling white lights, made the whole evening feel relaxed and special.
Our server, Dawson, was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and beer options, and attentive all night. We had an outstanding experience and highly recommend The Burrow. Bonus: they have live music on Friday nights, so we’ll definitely be back!
The Burrow – Pensacola, FL (Bar/Bistro)
Absolutely high-class experience from start to finish. The Burrow delivers everything you’d want from a local bar and bistro. The locally brewed beer is phenomenal — truly art-quality craft brewing. Every sip tastes like it came straight from a master brewer.
The food was fantastic as well. I had the burger, and it was one of the best I’ve had anywhere: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The combination of excellent food and world-class local beer makes this place a must-visit.
If you’re in Pensacola, The Burrow is a five-star gem. Highly recommended
They definitely served me rotten chicken skin on the deviled eggs. As soon as we ate it we both said at the same time it tasted rotten, so we removed the skins from the others. The plate sat in front of us for a few minutes and the smell was so awful so we moved it to another table. I showed the person picking up the plates the soft, fleshy brown patch on one of the “crispy” chicken skins and she said something about she doesn’t know because it’s not a drink and she’s a bartender. We told the waitress as politely as we could that it was definitely spoiled, and she came back and and told us she comped the eggs because “we didn’t like the way they taste”, so we let her know again they were definitely rotten, to which she didn’t respond. No apology or anything.
The rest of our food was okay at best. The boudin balls was sort of mushy, and my hot honey chicken sandwich was very hard and hurt my teeth, but we had both lost our appetite from smelling those chicken skins sitting at the table for a period of time.
IDK, I can’t recommend them, this was sort of unforgivable for me, won’t be back.
