We were visiting from Dallas, TX, and wanted to experience some authentic Pensacola flavor — The Burrow was the perfect choice. We started with the Southern Fried Deviled Eggs, which were absolutely delicious — crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and topped with the perfect pickle.

Next, we split the Burrow Burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, while the fries were crisp and just the right amount of sweet. Our guests ordered the roasted corn salad with redfish and the fresh Gulf catch plate — both were big hits. The beer selection was excellent, with generous pours served cold in a classy stein.

For dessert, we couldn’t resist the honey lavender crème brûlée — smooth and flavorful — a nice finish to the meal. The outdoor seating, with its wooden picnic tables and twinkling white lights, made the whole evening feel relaxed and special.

Our server, Dawson, was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and beer options, and attentive all night. We had an outstanding experience and highly recommend The Burrow. Bonus: they have live music on Friday nights, so we’ll definitely be back!

The Burrow – Pensacola, FL (Bar/Bistro)

Absolutely high-class experience from start to finish. The Burrow delivers everything you’d want from a local bar and bistro. The locally brewed beer is phenomenal — truly art-quality craft brewing. Every sip tastes like it came straight from a master brewer.

The food was fantastic as well. I had the burger, and it was one of the best I’ve had anywhere: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The combination of excellent food and world-class local beer makes this place a must-visit.

If you’re in Pensacola, The Burrow is a five-star gem. Highly recommended

The staff was good, the building and atmosphere was also very nice, and the food *looked* great, however…

They definitely served me rotten chicken skin on the deviled eggs. As soon as we ate it we both said at the same time it tasted rotten, so we removed the skins from the others. The plate sat in front of us for a few minutes and the smell was so awful so we moved it to another table. I showed the person picking up the plates the soft, fleshy brown patch on one of the “crispy” chicken skins and she said something about she doesn’t know because it’s not a drink and she’s a bartender. We told the waitress as politely as we could that it was definitely spoiled, and she came back and and told us she comped the eggs because “we didn’t like the way they taste”, so we let her know again they were definitely rotten, to which she didn’t respond. No apology or anything.

The rest of our food was okay at best. The boudin balls was sort of mushy, and my hot honey chicken sandwich was very hard and hurt my teeth, but we had both lost our appetite from smelling those chicken skins sitting at the table for a period of time.

IDK, I can’t recommend them, this was sort of unforgivable for me, won’t be back.

Kitchen was backed up but the hostess explained that prior to us sitting. All the staff was kind and helpful. Food was good the drinks were delicious. I had the Banh mi sandwich, which it wasn’t. But still good. I was a little disappointed because I love a good Banh mi. Everyone else loved their food.

Came here for the first time over the weekend to grab a drink with a friend. The Aperol spritz was absolute perfection, but they were out of several menu items (Pensacon weekend). Their appetizer options are a real miss, so I’m hoping they’ll update their menu.

Cute interior, nice outdoor space but too hot to sit out there this time of year. We opted for the inside. Out server was pleasant and attentive. Menu options were interesting for brunch. Hubby did biscuits and gravy, our friend did the stuffed French toast and I did the toad in a hole on avocado toast. They enjoyed theirs. I found mine very underseasoned. Should have done the stuffed French toast which looked amazing

This restaurant is in the below ground area of the old Sacred Heart Hospital from the early 1900s. Very cool building historically. Has indoor dining and an outside courtyard seating area with picnic tables and a stage. They regularly host events for the Pensacola area. The food has always been very good. Wait staff and bartenders are wonderful and friendly.

The breakfast burger didn’t have any seasoning in it. The deep fried deviled eggs and jalapeño hush puppies were amazing. The service was good. We explored the “haunted” hospital afterwards. It was a good experience.

We love to sit at the bar at a Friday happy hour as a couple and the outdoor space with the whole family. The food has really gotten great; we especially love the mullet platter for that seafood and home/comfort fix. The Brussels and the burger are a close second. Always love Odd Colony beers, just wish there were more available at this location. We will continue to be back. It’s so great to see this building continue to have new life breathed into it.

Super cute spot with some delicious dishes. We went during Pensacon so they had a cool Zelda themed menu and cocktails. Unfortunately by the time we got there they had sold out of all the food options. We got to have the fairy shots which were delicious. We sat at the bar but even with two bartenders it was long waits to get them to come by. The shrimp and grits came out cold, they did bring out a new one that was good. The Asian chicken wings were so good and flavorful! We also had the beer cheese poppers, I could eat a million of those! I ordered the Raclette fries…I dream of these fries! I can’t wait to go back and give them another shot.
