Five-Star British Pub Perfection

The Burns Pub & Restaurant is an absolute gem. From the moment you arrive, it feels like stepping into a proper British pub—warm, welcoming, and full of character. The atmosphere is cozy without being stuffy, perfect for a relaxed night out or a special meal you want to linger over.

The food is outstanding. The Beef Wellington is cooked beautifully—tender, rich, and wrapped in perfectly flaky pastry. Truly top-tier and not something you find done this well very often. The Shepherd’s Pie is comfort food at its finest, hearty and deeply flavorful, and the Fish & Chips are exactly what you hope for: crisp batter, flaky fish, and satisfying chips with great texture. Every plate felt thoughtfully prepared, not rushed or generic.

And don’t skip dessert. The crème brûlée was silky, balanced, and finished with a crackly caramel top that hit just right—an ideal way to end the meal.

Service was friendly and attentive without hovering, and the whole experience felt genuine and unpretentious—in the best way. If you’re anywhere near Brookfield, CO and love great food, classic pub vibes, and consistently excellent execution, The Burns Pub & Restaurant is a must-visit. We’ll absolutely be back. ️

My wife and I had our wedding here march 2023. They helped make the day special for us. The food is always amazing! We enjoyed our 3 year anniversary last night and the food was excellent and the drinks flowing!

I have tried the British pubs in several towns along the Front Range with my Scottish friend. We both agreed The Burns is by far the best. It is located in an old farm which gives the place of a real pub feel. The food was also very good. My friend liked his banger and mash and the cod in my sandwich was very fresh. I think the only negatives were the cod was sitting on top of the bread making it quite messy to eat. The enamel ware is used in some Asian and African countries, not very British.

This place has amazing food. And the service was great even though they were crazy busy during a sunday brunch hour. The crab cakes were on point. The remoulade sauce paired perfectly with the cakes. We also ordered the corned beef routine and it’s like nothing we’ve ever had. The meat was tender and the routine was do tasty, we even ordered extra because of how good it was. I ordered the Reuben Sandwich with fries and it is the best Reuben I’ve ever had, literally. The portion of meat was huge and the 1000 island dressing was on point. My wife ordered the Sheapards Pie and loved it. We had enough leftovers for another meal. British food gets a bad reputation for being bland and lacing seasonings but not this place. Their food was seasoned perfectly. As a matter of fact, we have been back already and ordered the exact same things. We would highly recommend this place.

I absolutely love this pub and have been visiting for many years. Every dish I’ve had has been delicious. I love the shepherds pie, the pies of the day, fish and chips and bangers and mash. The selection of Scotch is extensive if you like that, but I also found a perfect Guinness Zero – non-alcoholic and it was incredible! This Sunday was gorgeous as there was live music (I believe it is offered every Sunday). The group playing was just amazing. I’ve added a little clip. I highly recommend Burns Pub & Restaurant for a fun and delicious visit.

Certainly the most accurate pub experience I’ve had outside the UK, and some of the best pub food I have had. When I walked in the atmosphere and aromas were exactly right.

We had the clam chowder, fish and chips, bangers and mash, and sticky toffee pudding. Each were stunning. The fry on the fish and chips is excellent, the clam chowder is smokey with a great bacon flavor, and the sticky toffee pudding is the light style with crème anglaise. Highly recommended each.

The service was top notch, even though we caught them during a lunch rush. We will be back to try everything else.

Food and atmosphere are great. Staff is very friendly. Only complaint is that the menus and tables were sticky and they accidentally put onions in my salad when I asked them not to.

I cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant! The food is exquisite. Everything I’ve had there is the best version of that dish I’ve ever had. The fish & chips, the Reuben (their corned beef is otherworldly), their pies, the beef Wellington, everything. One of my favorite dishes is the corned beef poutine, and if I were to drown in a vat of their ale cheese, I would consider it a worthwhile death. The service is always wonderful, and they really know their stuff. I attended one of their whisky classes and found it very fun and informative. I even won some great prizes in whisky bingo! The Burns Pub is among my top three favorite restaurants in all of Colorado, and I hope they keep doing their thing for a long, long time.
