We wanted to try a new burger spot other than 5 guys. Huge menu as you walk in , cashier was very friendly and explained how ordering worked. Everything is pretty much à la cart. So yes be ready to pay-in my opinion the quality of the burger was cooked so good and tasty I’d definitely recommend it. It was fresh and had flavor. Curly fries tasted better than regular fries to us. I wouldn’t recommend the milkshakes as we’ve tasted better but for the kid it was good. The fountain drinks did have a lot of out of order signs on it. Restroom needed a cleaning especially since it was pretty slow. All in all I would come back for the burgers 100%. And to give something else a try on the menu. Thanks team.

My first and last time ever trying this place. I paid $16.82 for a burger and fries (not the main point, but it seems priced for high quality imo)
I ordered to go after a long day at work. After taking a couple bites even my hunger didn’t hide the burger not tasting right and I look to see its seems more on the raw spectrum than cooked to me. I called them and they even guessed it was me calling so they must have already knew they were sending be with a bad one? Also the fries were terrible. The lady on the phone said she would refund me but did not. I had a stomach ache the next day, at least not a hospital trip.

Arrived at 11:30am, the seating area was in a great state of police. I was greeted with a smile by the Hostess. This was my first time, Initially the menu appeared overwhelming and THEN I noticed the Speciality ‘s. After a quick study, the BBQ Bacon Cheddar chose me. Given the choice, I chose my order to be cooked Medium w/fries and drink. I want to thank Carlos (Grill Master), for his knowledge and skill. The presentation of better than expected and the quality was unmatched, considering my Burger was just shy of 8oz. THE BURGER SHACK is a must if you’re in the area and Carlos has set the bar high. Thank you Burger Shack for a professional staff and establishment! I would recommend to friends and family.

I am always in search of a good burger. This place did not disappoint. I had the classic cheeseburger. It was huge and so tasty. The brioche bun was perfect. I added tater tots and they were crispy and hot. I highly recommend this place! Also good to note…the store was very clean.

Wife and I had Build A Burger and Loaded Fries. The burgers and Loaded Fries were amazing. For the burgers, I think it is the beef that they use. The only issue is that the bottom bun becomes soggy and wet. Loaded Fries is amazing. Onion rings are great. All around I would recommend this burger shack. Not all burger shack are the same. The one in Chantilly is crap compared to this place. This place is better than Five Guys. Shake Shack is great too, but it is not worth the price.

Along with tater tots which were cooked perfectly. One thing I really
liked is the soda machine. Not many choices, but not canned soda.
Overall, The Burger Shack is worth a try. Nothing super spectacular
but a great place to eat. I will go back and try something else.

Disappointed with the service. While the food itself was fine, the service really let the experience down. During our meal the staff were sweeping right next to our table, which felt intrusive and uncomfortable. It was hard to enjoy our food when we were constantly distracted by housekeeping in our immediate space. For the price and reputation of this restaurant, I expected a much higher level of attentiveness and respect for diners. I hope management addresses this so future guests have a better experience

This is a great quick bite. The patty melt was really good. A little non- traditional for a patty melt, but it was good. I got the onion rings and they too were really good. Because it’s not a big place there are a few tables to sit at but for most this is a carry out (or delivery, not sure what app they use). They do have hot dogs, wings, and tenders, and a kids menu.

I loved the burger shack in Chantilly and was happy to find this one here when I moved to the area. This one is not as good as the original in chantilly but it is still a decent burger. The price point is more expensive than Chantilly with here being on 17 and change where Chantilly was around 15 for the same items. The burgers here seem smaller than the 7oz option. There is no additional bun selections either. I have gotten a side fry each time and it has been inconsistent with the amount being smaller and smaller. The burger is good and handmade but they tend to overcook them regardless of what temp you order. It’s a sold 3.8 out of 5. Better than most places but pricey for what you get.
