I just had a great meal The Burger Shack. The burger was cooked perfectly and the wings are really good. After my last post a friend and his family met us down there for dinner. It’s definitely an inexpensive place to eat. I talked to “dad” tonight and he recommended the Texas burger. It had all the delicious onions and a fried egg. Kenny of course had wings, Gabby a cheeseburger. Vikki had the big “o”, she really liked it.
Of course we had to finish the meal with shakes which were so thick we needed a spoon for most of it.

Great burgers… But.. they do breakfast too. Be sure to speak to Vic for breakfast. Tell him James sent you. They offer student discounts, and are great to veterans. Wayne, Nick, Johnnie Beans. All great there.
2018/12/23 Update:
Breakfast has been in the back burner for a while because of updates to the grill and such. They have a new counter guy George… Ok I have to say this guy is great. Anytime I go there when Johnnie beans is working the grill and George is upfront, I know it’s gonna be good. They both sing… Well if you ask them. Both are pretty good.
I’ll be back.

Came here because of a recommendation. I read a few reviews prior and was on the fence. People were waiting forever to get food. Before I got my food I heard four different people return food back for an incorrect orders and cancel orders. My food was ok but the wait time was horrible. Wayne did his best to try to make everyone happy

The staff is super nice and the food is great! There’s a big variety of different flavors to choose for wings and the burgers. The 4oz burger sounds like a lot but it’s more of a kid size. Get the 8oz. Highly recommended. I am looking forward to going again soon.

Our first experience here was great. Without realizing their closing time, we walked in while they were cleaning up and they still insisted on taking our order. Everyone there was friendly especially the manager and the guy at the register, I didn’t ever get their names. The burgers were delicious and the fries were crispy. I’m from the city so its very hard to find really good burger spots out in Long Island that can compare. The manager told us he has the best wings in Long island so we will definitely be going back again for some burgers and wings.

This place is a great stop for a burger. I like the cajon with fries. Cooked to your liking. Each order is prepared specific so it’s not a fast food place but it is a perfection food place. I’ve not tried anything else here but the burgers are second to none.

Food was not very good. Ordered 2 burgers, onions rings, and fries. The burgers we’re supposed to be medium, both burgers were so well done, completely overcooked, to the point they were dry. Both burgers had little to no flavor to the point where the toppings were the only thing that had any taste. On rings and fries were sufficient not salted or seasoned in any way easy enough to remedy. Place was clean staff was nice. Will not be going back!

This place has greatly improved since the ownership changed. I live in the area and came here twice a few years back and the food wasn’t good. There is a big difference in menu options. The food quality is very good. The Burgers were very tasty. The O rings were a bit overdone though . I will be back .

One of the best home-grown restaurants I’ve been to in a very long time. Staff were very friendly and inviting. Food was delicious and made to order perfectly. Wait for food was minimal and the banana shake has real bananas in it. Not only will I be going to this restaurant a lot in the future, but since they also deliver, I plan on using their delivery service as well. I also love the fact that they are open for breakfast, lunch AND dinner.
