First time here and we have lived in Highland Township since 2020.
We thought we had tried most of the places in Milford.
The burgers were very good. The fries were also very good. Fresh and hot.
HUGE portions. The picture is two burgers and ONE small fry…haha
Two meals each easy!
Brian (the owner) brought the tray out to us at a booth by the window.
I had the inferno burger because I like hot. You can ask for different heat levels. Going to, at least, double the heat from the standard next time.

Nicely located in the main area of downtown Milford with some parking off to the side.
The menu is limited in what they suggest but there are endless possibilities of what you can put together yourself. I tried one of the few selections they had, the Mac and cheese burger. I was disappointed.

Delicious every time, love the sweet potato waffle fries. We traditionally build our own burgers, my husband has our favs memorized. So good. Very family friendly. Also a nice milkshake spot. A gem to have in town.

Visiting downtown Milford, and we gave this place a try. The burger my husband had was absolutely perfect – and the malted chocolate shake was top notch. Nothing special about the chicken or the poutine – hence the four stars, but then again – why go to the burger joint and order chicken?

Great local burger spot. Food was amazing, huge portions, and staff was very inviting and accommodating. Burger customizations were top notch and a vast variety of options made me really think about what I wanted to get. (Which was a good thing)

Stumbled upon this little gem while in town visiting. Everything was absolutely so good. Burger was perfectly cooked. Fries are delicious. So much food. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back and bring the family.

Excellent burger & fries — think Five Guys’ taste but no cheap chain environment, and actually clean tables. We sat outside and enjoyed the outdoors while dining. Highly recommended.

Bright outside design makes you feel to want to visit The Burger Joint. I was the hesitant at first as I am not a big burger eater but went there with the friends and teenagers. Everyone can find something they will like there. I got Naanwhich sandwich with cod on the naan that was absolutely delicious! Also, be aware, there ‘small’ fries is enormous. The only critic I will give,- weekday around 3pm, when kids get off schools,- the place gets very crowd and loud.
Special complement to their milkshakes and icecreams!

I don’t go out to eat much. I have celiac disease, (an auto immune disorder which makes me allergic to gluten). I used to come here on a weekly basis and had all my bday parties as a child here before knowing about my allergy. I have not ben here in 3 years because I got a horrible stomach ache eating here last time. I decided to give them another try due to the nostalgia.
My wife and I ordered (2) burgers one of them a standard shroom burger, the other a basic burger with a gluten free bun. We received burgers with the buns on the wrong burger, which would have led to a hospital trip for me, had I not caught it.
My wife called and expressed the issue, the lady who answered seemed to think we could just swap buns (clearly they have no understanding of cross-contamination). They reluctantly only remade (1) burger, my gluten free burger. So, I had to return for a 3rd time for them to redo the shroom burger. They seemed irritated with me for their mistake.
“well, I figured you could just swap the bun” she stated again… I spent $40 on 2 burgers and some fries. I expect the order how I ordered it. Swapping buns would include the wrong melted cheese and mayo that was on mine, to now be on her burger. Absolutely ridiculous to even suggest this! this is “THE burger joint”
The bearded chef clearly had an attitude over having to redo the order he couldn’t do right the first time. The lady running the register clearly knows nothing about burgers. Insanely poor attitudes.
Great tasting food when they get it right. soggy buns when ordered to go. Its a burger majority of us can make it at home, charging $15-20 for a burger and not making it right and having an attitude when asked to remake it, is not alright.

Me and my family used to love coming here, the food is great, they have good gluten free buns and their fries are great and also have a dedicated fryer so that they are gluten free…BUT the service has honestly not been great, we’ve been coming here about 3 years and the first year of going there everyone was so nice and respectful but the past two years we’ve encountered some really rude staff members that were extremely unprofessional. Me and my sister went there recently and overheard one of the staff members tell a customer that had asked how the workers day was going and told them “My day is going bad..I hate people, I hate working in customer service..I just hate people” listen I work in the food industry too and understand working in customer service isn’t amazing sometimes and you encounter some really not so nice people and sometimes the days are hard because of that but it really makes your business seem unprofessional when your workers are being rude to the customers and them telling customers that they hate people. Like I said I like coming here but I shouldn’t feel unwelcome in a restaurant.
