Everything was Absolutely delicious. I ordered my burger lettuce wraped so I could use my saved calories on a yummy strawberry milkshake. Great vibe and clean. Thank you very much.

This was our first time here. Went for restaurant week since I am trying to get to know the restaurants in Coeur d Alene. This wasn’t the sit down burger restaurant I expected. When we arrived, There was no sign or person to let us know if we should wait to be seated or seat ourselves So we just went and sat at a booth. Nobody came to greet us, so we had no idea that we needed to go to the counter to order. Our son had to go find us a menu. Their prices are a bit on the high end in my opinion. The burgers run around $14 to $18 and are smaller than burgers at other places we have been to. Having said this, they were really tasty and came with fries. One big disappointment was having my salad, which was the Dock, arrive in a paper bowl with just a fork, no knife. Having a wedge salad that you need to cut in a paper bowl was difficult. We ended by bussing our own table, which I wasn’t sure if we were suppose to because nobody checked on us after delivering our food.

The Burger Dock – Great Atmosphere, But the Burger Missed the Mark
This was my first time visiting The Burger Dock in downtown Coeur d’Alene. The staff was friendly, and the place had a nice, welcoming atmosphere. I ordered “The Old Tin Can” burger, but unfortunately, it didn’t hit the mark for me. The fries were thin and crispy—very enjoyable—but the burger itself was overly salty, and the patty was dry and overcooked, making it hard to eat. I only managed a couple of bites.
I really enjoy giving 5-star reviews, but this time I just can’t. That said, I’m not completely writing the place off—I might give it another try and order something different next time.

First impression of this place is that it’s a pretty cool restaurant and atmosphere. I had to try the peanut butter burger and while it was good I was a little disappointed because the image showed it covered but I actually had to check if there was any on it. I found a tiny dab on the bottom bun. I can’t really say how a peanut butter burger would taste because there was really none on it. Luckily the burger itself was well seasoned and tasty so I was still happy, but I truly came just to try that and it kind of sucks that I still have no idea if it would be great or terrible. The staff was all very friendly and were happy to make us a patty for our dog so that’s a big plus.
I’ll say is the cost is pretty up there. It was like $44 or $45 dollars which if the burgers looked anything like the images I could see why but they looked more like what mcdonalds or burger kings burgers do in comparison to their pictures. I get that no burger looks exactly like the marketing material but restaurant style burgers typically are closer to the menu pictures than fast food and they are charging restaurant costs so I’d expect more restaurant like quality. Like actually having peanut butter on a burger that is supposed to be surprisingly good due to the peanut butter part. Sad I’ll never know now because I don’t live here.
I will say that overall the burgers are good and it’s a fun little experience but I would maybe expect a little better quality for the price. If you charge a premium then provide premium burgers. The restaurant was almost empty while we were there so they could have taken their time.

The food was delicious! We ordered The Bee and The Sticky. The fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly and we really liked the dipping sauce. The staff were also really friendly. Yes, the food is a little pricey but it was really fresh and worth every penny. We will be back next time we are in town.

The food was good. However the restaurant was really dirty and had a weird set up. Felt like a bar not a family Friendly restaurant. There was only 1 party ahead of us but it took about 30 minutes to get our food. Three kitchen area was also really dirty. Chairs very uncomfortable. On street parking only. Maybe we’ll just get take out next time. Also there’s an option to leave a tip however the staff didn’t provide any table service or really any service besides dropping off food and taking your order at the counter. Also a burger is roughly $15.

We highly recommend The Burger Dock! We suggest this restaurant to all of our guests visiting the area! The staff is great, the atmosphere is great, and the burgers are even better! If you haven’t eaten here yet, you are missing out!

Great place with clean and friendly service. Burgers were cooked perfect at medium. Hilarious to read reviews by people saying the burger was greasy. Grease comes from a fryer. Its called good quality meat, juicy and not cooked to oblivion. I literally would come here just for the fries! Hand cut and seasoned perfectly. Definitely will be back!

Disappointed. As regulars, we’ve always considered BD the best burger with THE best fries in CDA. Unfortunately, the young help either don’t know how to cook or don’t care. All food was extremely well done, including the dehydrated, albeit lukewarm fries. Not to mention the size of the Tin Can was easily 20% smaller and than in the past, still the same price.

I am writing this review while waiting for my order, it has been almost an hour and I haven’t seen the employees place a patty on the grill. I’m astounded at how this place is even still in business. OH, patties on the grill Finally! After 56 minutes of waiting. What a waste of time.
Hire more people, let the cooks focus on cooking. If you can’t afford to hire more employees or can’t find employees, Shut down. Simple. A business cannot run without proper function.
Highly disappointed. I Will not be coming back, and I highly doubt the people that waited here for 30+ minutes to order and left impatiently will be either.
I would rather have a functional restaurant In our beautiful downtown CDA.
