Courtney was our server and a total sweetheart. Friendly and fast. Started with the poutine. Which has their famous pot roast meat. Courtney recommended the pot roast, McSmash Burger, and Philly. As I was deciding the Jalapeño Popper (burger) caught my eye and couldn’t pass it up! I prefer thick burgers and it came perfectly medium rare. Paired with a side of Cajun seasoned tots. Great food and experience!

We stopped in about an hour and a half before a Saints game, but we were still able to get a table outside with no wait. The building and atmosphere give the place a great vibe for any occasion. The staff is friendly and super efficient and the food was good and the beer and cocktails lid was big. Overall, this is a great spot to hang out and it’s in an ideal location. If you’re anywhere near Lowertown, make your way to The Bulldog!

Read reviews, chose to have lunch here with my son and read another review about the blackbeen burger and tried it. It’s definitely delicious. My son wanted the footlong that they no longer offer, no big deal. One server for the entire dining room doing her best but unfortunately with as many customers as they had it was an impossible challenge. Bar tender could have helped but had 4 customers of his own and I guess that was his limit. Waited for about 20 minutes for the wrong drinks to be delivered and then had to approach the bar tender for refills. I’m assuming it was a manager that picked up the empty glasses at some point and ithey were never seen again. I’d recommend walking in, checking to see if more than one staff member is serving before I tried again. Food was good but not worth the hassle of having to wait so long for a drink and then having to chase down refills for my son.

My son got married and the venue was unable to cook for us so we moved it to the bulldog and when I say the staff were excellent the atmosphere was enjoyable. The food was bomb. We really enjoyed ourselves. We appreciate them and recommend them for everything from just hanging out, grabbing a bite to a wedding reception. They accommodated at the drop of a dime bomb. We love it.

It was a fun place to hang out for a fun time with friends – bar height tables- street parking. These ladies know how to get people served well and in a timely manner – great service! Lots of games for everyone to follow their fav teams. Pot roast was amazing – cheese curd were a perfect app to go with! Will come again!

We had an amazing dinner at The Bulldog Lowertown in St. Paul! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was even better. Our favorite burgers were juicy and flavorful, and the salads were fresh and delicious. The fancy drinks added a special touch to our meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. We loved our visit and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

The Bulldog is my go-to spot for an incredible time! I absolutely love hanging out here, whether it’s to catch a game or to just soak in the lively atmosphere. Their beer selection is out of this world, and although I’m not a beer enthusiast, their wine is surprisingly good. I just wish they’d offer some higher-quality wine by the bottle. The food is consistently delicious, and their Sriracha tater tots and fried pickles are absolute must-haves! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and I haven’t come across a dish I didn’t like. Even my cat, Countess Willow, adores the food and their fabulous patio. The staff is top-notch, and the management is truly exceptional. The bartenders are always friendly and professional. This place is always buzzing with activity thanks to its great location, fantastic management, and wonderful staff. Their beautiful patio is perfect for enjoying the weather, but parking can be a bit of a hassle due to the lively area.
