We went here this evening for dinner and I ordered a salad and the menu clearly stated it had hard boiled eggs and French fries. When the salad arrived at the table after at least 25 minutes it did not have either. After informing the server she went to the kitchen and brought out salt covered fries so I had to ask for unsalted fries. My husband ordered fish and chips and it was Luke warm. I can’t see why people say it is so good when they can’t even get a salad right. Our server did discount the check and she was very nice. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

Great spot for drinks and food in Tyrone. The place is a neat repurposing of an old strip mall, as they’ve created indoor/outdoor space with a nice open air area in the middle with games like corn hole and things for kids. Our food was good, and they had a nice beer list and plenty of cocktail options. Service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was pretty chill with plenty of families dining on a Sunday night. I’ll be back next time we visit our daughter!

Waitress/bartender was very attentive. First time being there and we all had good food and drinks for a decent price. This is one of those places you don’t want to write a good review, just so you and the locals can have it to yourself. Definitely will be back.

*UPDATE* Tried the pretzels with beer cheese, and I have never been so astonished by a food before. The pretzels were crispy yet fluffy and chewy, and the beer cheese was a perfect compliment to them. We also got the fried cheese curds which were so delicious and the marinara that they come with is also really delicious. I got the chicken cheesesteak, and it was a little dry, but the french fries were also phenomenal. I don’t know if they got a new Chef or what but this food was 100% on point! Also the fish with the fish and chips was massive and the buffalo chicken sandwich was also gargantuan as seen in the updated photos.

Came in for a late lunch, and we destroyed a pan of their delicious pulled pork Nachos! Sorry they were gone before I got a picture. I got to grilled cheese too, it was delicious as well! Definitely recommend it, even for adults. Next time I might get pepperjack on the grilled cheese.

My wife decided she wanted the boneless wings from the bull pen so she called and ordered them and I picked them up. We were told 25 to 30 minutes and if they are constant with one thing it is letting the to go food set in a closed container for a while , I was there in less than 20 minutes and the order was setting there in a bag . So I brought the soggy fries home and the wings with a scant of sauce , how disappointing for the money .
I blame this on the kitchen manager , not doing there job and that is checking every order that leaves the kitchen!!!
We will try the Pizza Hut wings the next time.

Myself and two friends stopped for a beer and light lunch. One chose chili, one house chips and one fish tacos. We were all happy with our choices and quality of the food. The service was spot on and very timely. Pricing was in line with what I would expect. We’ll be back.

My fiancé and I drove up from Virginia to attend a memorial service. After driving for 5 hours and then getting a tour of Tyrone, we decided to stop in for an early supper. We were pleasantly surprised with this place. It has a home town feel and atmosphere! We both ordered burgers and the were outstanding! I have been raving about them the rest of the weekend so I decided to leave this review!

I had a great time at The Bull Pen Restaurant & Sports Bar. The place was busy, the service was friendly but slow.
The food was delicious & the portions were generous. I ordered the OLD DADS MAC, a Yuengling Lager, & the Rotunda Nerds, there were nice & cold.
The beer selection was impressive.

The patio was spacious & cozy, with corn holes & a fire pit. I was able to move around with my mechanical wheelchair. The place was hopping inside, but we stayed outside which was perfect. The patio also got busy later. It was a perfect spot to celebrate my nephew’s birthday, which is one of his favorite places.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a casual & fun dining experience in Tyrone.

Great place to eat in town. Foods always good, never had a single issue with service either. Would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Was only in town for a long weekend this was the first and last stop we made. This place is awesome, good staff, good brews. The inside is really nice but the weather was perfect and there’s a fun outdoor area with corn hole and have the ring on a string game on a post and a strangeput put thing that i think you playlike beer pong haha. And the food, refer to pictures. Look at those nachos soooo good!
