Went in for a weekday lunch. Had the spiced sausage and lentils – which was simply done, but beautifully flavoured. Followed by the fillet steak sandwich with beef dripping chips. The steak was insanely good and the chips amazing. Washed down with a lovely pint noir. 100% recommend this place.

The Porterhouse completely stole the show for us. The service there was next-level, the ambience was immaculate, and the whole experience felt effortlessly special. A perfect way to spend our one and only night in Dublin—zero regrets, 10/10 would time-travel back for that meal.

Sister restaurant for F.X. Buckley another amazing Steak House. A great relaxing chill atmosphere for dinner, clean and well done. The flatbread starters were great with a proper pint of Guinness . The service was friendly and all of it. The filet was fantastic as all meat is grass feed from Ireland. I would recommend and will be returning.

Great food, lovely atmosphere. Downstairs is a gastropub steak restaurant and upstairs is a nice bar. We had lunch on a Saturday and it was all quite civilised. Nicer vibe than the Temple Bar chaos but still lovely and enjoyable.

Superb meal. Loved my t-bone steak, I esp loved the buttermilk onion rings. What i esp loved about this place is that they use beef fat. I was able to have fries. Service was just ok.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. I had the Bone Marrow Appetizer and the 10oz Ribeye medium and pepper sauce. Great Guinness too. Will be returning when I come to Dublin next.

Beautiful place, but overpriced menu and awful service. Staff was less than friendly, which instantly put us off. The only place to sit was upstairs, so my 81 year old mother in law climbed her way up with us to the second level where we were met by a staff member who could not have been more unwelcoming if he tried. The food came (we ordered the LARGE cheese board which was literally six crackers, a couple of grapes, a few slices of cheese and some bizarre cubes of a cranberry sauce-like substance) and for what they charged, it was shocking. Would absolutely skip it on a return trip to Dublin. Unfortunate for such a pretty place in such a great location!

We met at the bar for our Christmas outing with some drinks and finger food. Food was amazing, best part was Alen’s speciality sausages that were out of this world! The atmosphere was spectacular and the space is lovely done. Service was immaculate. I would definitely recommend the place if you are planing a gathering.

We had a great dining experience at Bull & Castle. The steak was on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it. Cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Service was attentive and the atmosphere made it a nice spot for a special meal.

Food was good but not very Irish. We had the scallops, the lamb flatbread (gyro) and the pear tart. The food was good not great. The star was the cucumber sauce.
