We stop in every time we head north into South Dakota and on the way home. Always feel welcome and the service and food is always top notch. Highly recommend!

I typically don’t go to “Bar & Grills”, for lunch, but this one, despite its name, wasn’t bad. It is a hamburger and side dish place, do not expect to find a salad on this menu. The hamburgers looked like they had been hand formed and from local beef. The beef tasted like it was grass fed. I raise my own grass fed beef so I can, typically, tell the difference in flavor. I always skip the bun of empty calories and of little flavor and just go for the meat. My husband had the patty melt, he enjoyed it and it looked like it was correctly built. Our lunch partners both had the fried chicken sandwiches which looked okay and they said it was good. The French fries were done nicely, they were hot and cooked through. The kitchen was very slow 30 minutes slow and they were not busy. The waitress while not apologizing for that did give us a very yummy comp’d side dish of onion rings which everyone loved. Food is served in paper boats, but real silver wear.
The restaurant is rough and well used inside, complete with a pool table and darts. The bathrooms were clean and what I could see of the kitchen it looked clean also. The waitress was attentive, took our orders promptly and got out drinks out right away.

Great location for stopping to get a bite and a brew. We stopped on the way back from Sturgis and were quite happy we did. I had the mushroom swiss burger and fries and my partner had the shrimp. The meals were freshly prepared and I still think beef in WY and SD is way better than Colorado’s.

Love to stop at small town bars to hen on the bike or anytime- and this is no different. An awesome hello when we walked in and she made a Great Bloody Mary!

Stopped here on a road trip after we had passed on our way the other direction. The name really drew us in and so we read about the history of the building and the name of the bar. We were craving a burger that whole trip and this was our last stop before home. Absolutely fantastic burger and the fries were perfect! Great service. The kind of place you go in and the staff knows everyones name who walks in. Definitely recommend stopping in. We certainly will next time we’re in the area!

We stopped at this spot in Wyoming during our Midwest road trip because the name caught our eye. But this place is much more than just a catchy name! The food and service are excellent, and we met some genuinely friendly and interesting people – exactly the kind of folks who make America great.

Since you’re reading this, you were probably already hungry: yes, you should go there right now! And if you’ve ever wondered whether chicken fried steak makes for a solid sandwich – trust me, it absolutely does. Be sure to try it with an orange beer. 😉

We didn’t get the chance to try the food, but this is a great place to check out if you are in this area.

I give them 5 stars for the name. Headed cross country and did a U-turn to come back and take a picture of this. I wanted to go in and have a beer but I needed to stay focused on my drive.

Wasn’t expecting much from a small town bar but this place exceeded my expectations. Bartenders were super helpful, nice, and engaged with us out of towers.

Decided to stop off on the way back from fort Laramie to Torrington and try this little American bar. Was surprised once we walked in, quite busy. We just ordered a couple of drinks and looked at all the neon signs and listened to the locals. Great atmosphere. Food looked good that we saw others eating. Recommend if you want a little bar in a country town
