Overall a solid sushi and omakase spot, but pricey. We did the middle tier omakase and it was a good amount of food. The tempura fish was a highlight for me. I thought the fish was good but nothing mind-blowing, and personally I found the nigiri to have too much rice per piece. Ambiance was good, and the chefs were fun to watch. We got an anniversary dessert which was really nice!

Nestled right next to Trader Joe’s in Downtown Culver City, Brothers
Sushi is a casual restaurant with attentive and friendly servers and sushi chefs. The fish quality is exceptional and fresh. Their delicious miso soup is a MUST TRY! The lunch menu has a wide variety ranging from sushi to bento boxes. Hands down Brothers Sushi is worth the splurge. If you have room for more after your meal, their desserts are light, not incredibly sweet and refreshing. We will definitely come back. Thank you, Brothers Sushi

Really great lunch Bday experience at this very very good sushi restaurant. Super High Quality fish and a strong menu. Location is central, parking right behind the restaurant.

What stood out was the very good food by far. Super fresh and sooooo tasty. There are a ton of choices on the menu and no real overlap of dishes. Some of my favorites and some good new ones. Host was incredibly nice and server was good.

Lunch prices are good – did not go for the Omakase, but did the $55 bowl. We ordered a lot and had sake and alcohol so the bill was decent.

5 stars!

Came here for dinner on a Friday night. Decided to go all-out and try the omakase meal. Lots of delicious dishes with unique tastes and textures. The only part I forgot to photograph was the soup, which was clam miso soup.

I can’t say I loved every piece of fish, but I’m glad we tried it anyway as we never would have tasted this food otherwise. Altogether the meal was filling and the service was top notch. Would recommend if you have a thick wallet.

I discovered this restaurant via INKIND app and got a 20% discount + a $25 birthday credit.

The two of us arrived earlier and shared these dishes:
-Yellowtail collar. Good portions.
-Salmon skin salad. Very generous with the crispy salmon skins!
-Shrimp tempura (2 shrimps +veges)
-Truffle fries. Look at those big homecuts pieces. I think it was a special potato, not the usual American fries.
-Unagi (eel) roll
-Uni appetizer
-Sake. Very, very good.

Then I had the 5 piece chef’s choice sushi. Remember, no sauce for chef’s specials. They already add everything to enhance the nigiri. Just put the whole piece in your mouth and experience the complex textures and flavors. I thought the 5-piece was a very good deal. Plus 2 orders of nigiri. I had to try the dry-aged sashimi/nigiri. The “dry-aged otoro” was very, very good. More intense flavor. And the sea bream had a nice smokey flavor (perfectly torched!)

Overall, very, very good. Consistently located next to Trader Joe’s. Park at the TJ’s public parking structure.

They also offer an omakase meal for $160, with or with sake pairing (+$40.) Maybe next time.

I am absolutely outraged. This photo shows the amount of food we got for $75 (with tip). Yes, what you see here is ALL of it, and nothing more. I’m shocked. This is actually the worst case of “food gouging” I have ever experienced. This is NOT OK. An $18 roll with five small pieces in it. A side of what was described as truffle potatoes, with only 9 little sticks, but costing $12+ tax and tip. I have never felt so fleeced by a restaurant before in my life. What happened here is highway robbery.

This is hands down some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! My boyfriend had been here before and insisted we go, and wow he was right.

When I first saw “dry-aged sushi” on the menu, I didn’t know what to expect. It honestly didn’t sound appealing at first, but after my first bite, I was blown away. The sushi chef explained that dry-aging locks in moisture and enhances flavor while reducing any “fishy” taste and you can really taste the difference.

The restaurant itself is lowkey and intimate, and while it’s not cheap, the quality absolutely matches the price. Every piece is fresh, buttery, and perfectly balanced. The service is amazing, and the chefs clearly take pride in their craft.

If you’re looking for high-quality, melt-in-your-mouth sushi and a memorable dining experience, this is the place. Coming back tonight with friends and can’t wait! Hopefully I can get some photos this time.

We had lunch at this Japanese place and it was fantastic. The omakase was exceptional — every course came out perfectly balanced, super fresh, and honestly way above what I expected at that price point. Our waitress, Sally, was also amazing. She was warm, attentive without being pushy, and explained each piece like she actually cared about what we were eating. Overall, great experience and I would definitely come back just for that omakase.

Most definitely the best sushi I’ve had in years. My wife and I had Omakase for my birthday. Outstanding service — they kindly accommodated our dietary requests. The presentation was masterful and the executive chef beautifully explained his artistic creations. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely go back again to enjoy the chef’s craftsmanship and to enjoy a truly authentic sushi kaiseki experience.

I went for my mom and boyfriend’s birthdays on separate occasions, and it was amazing both times! I love the lunch specials and the fish is so fresh and unbeatable. They even brought out a little birthday cake so nice
