I had high expectations for this spot after seeing a friends post on Facebook raving about this place. My husband and I drove 70 miles round trip to check it out. We arrived around 6pm. It wasn’t very crowded and appeared to be only one server. I headed to a table to seat myself since we weren’t greeted. After looking over the menu and trying to decide what to order ,we agreed to order the mini sampler to share. It came to the table fairly quickly. Once I had gotten the order I asked the server if we could try a sample of the burnt ends, (these were on special all you can eat) We were told “they” usually don’t do that but I’ll ask. We never got an answer, nor a sample. Now i would assume there were plenty of them in the kitchen given the “special” and I imagine more went in the trash or fell to the floor than what it would have cost to let a person paying $55 for a meal to try. But be that as it may onto the food we did get. The brisket was tasty, the pulled pork was mush, the run of the mill chicken leg quarter and ribs were ok, the coleslaw was really good but overly wet, the beans were typical of bbq places, the bratwurst dipped in mustard sauce was delicious. We did not get to try a desert because they didn’t have any at 6:30 on a Friday night. Overall, we weren’t impressed.

“Wow”, is all you will say when you leave! The food is literally top notch. Also, Cooking bbq myself and knowing the price of meat, knowing all the work and effort it takes, the prices are actually very very reasonable! You will not leave disappointed due to literally everything being over the top! Best hidden gem in Chatham County.

Thank goodness I googled “sandwich shops Siler City” when we got onto 421 south from 85. I’m not super familiar with the area but I didn’t expect to find this hidden gem! It takes a lot to please my palette, especially when it comes to brisket. And it was perfection! The Mac and cheese, the beans, the slaw, and the spicy sauce…..all yum too! And can we talk about the music? 80’s country was floating through the speakers and the entire experience took me back to the good ol days. It’s not often that I leave a restaurant with a huge smile on my face, but today I did! I didn’t catch the owners name as we chatted but thank you, sir, for the fantastic experience!

Best bbq brisket I’ve ever had! Highly recommend it! Their Carolina mustard sauce is amazing all in house made . Service was fast and the server was friendly . If you’re ever in the area it’s worth the stop ! Huge portions you won’t leave hungry

Wow, you have to try this bbq. As good as it gets, the ribs and pulled pork were the best. Not my favorite type of sausage, but everything was delicious. The brussel sprouts were a delicious surprise! I can’t wait to go back!

It’s doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food inside was delicious! We were in the area so decided to search a place nearby to eat. We had decided on the mini sampler which was a hit. We tried all the different meat options along with the baked beans and potato salad. The sweet tea was also very good. The brisket was so tender and the brats were the best we’ve had. Great service, great food. The only suggestion is to update the menu pricing online.

We hired The Broken Spit in Siler City, NC to caterer our wedding. All they needed to know is where to setup, it was perfect!! The food was phenomenal, so many of our guest have asked who they were and said the food was amazing! Our wedding venue was partially outdoors in December and the food was still hot and very fresh. Highly professional, large portions, we had plenty of food for our event! We could not have hired a better caterer for our wedding!! We would highly recommend them!! They go above & beyond! Thank you for making our day stress free and amazing!!
