First the restaurant in the back was AMAZING. It is not the same place Guy Fieri reviewed on Diners and Dive.. so no BBQ.. That place has been replaced by an amazing young couple and thier yummy small, well executed menu. It is the Restaurant in the back of this place. Just walk on through the bar and enjoy mouth watering Tri tip tacos, Carne Asada fries, fish tacos, and taquitos. You will not be sad if you do. The bar on the other hand, it is a separate place oddly. It was ok. Not anything like advertised. Service was not good, drinks poorly made. The bar tender although nice, charged differently each time….go for the food, get a shot of tequila. The bar is cash only.. restaurant takes card.

I loved this little gem of a hole in the wall bar in the Lower Mission. It’s closing soon. Their food was amazing and so was their beer! So sad to see it go.

Always a good time in this club. No pretense here. Locals keep it real. Knowledgeable barkeeps Christine, Bret, Liz and Johnny pour fresh IPA’s, or selections from the extensive whiskey menu. Do yourself a favor and order something Sarah, Whitney or Bonnie are creating in the kitchen. This IS the place. Thanks, Jason.

Liz is a great host and bartender. Great beer on draft and great vibes for a cash only dive bar. Will be back.

The Bbq brisket is very tasty. I really liked the baked mac and the baked beans. The garlic bread was a nice touch on the BBQ plate.

This neighborhood dive bar absolutely revels in their infamy and has earned all of their accolades. I love stumbling home the measly 4 blocks and sometimes it is a chore: but a worthwhile one. The friends we’ve made, the time shared, the fun experiences all around…
But really, it a great neighborhood dive bar with an amazing kitchen and fabulous food. Good local brews, darts, a backyard patio, and fun times all around.

I’ve been to this place a few times now, and it has a really great vibe and a fun backyard patio where you can sit and eat your food. Also, some great BBQ options which can be hard to find in SF.
Last time I went, though, the kitchen seemed pretty slammed with only two or three guys working on the orders coming through. Not a problem, having also worked in food service, this happens and I wasn’t concerned about the wait even though it took around an hour to get my food.
Unfortunately, the service took a big hit as well. When I ordered, the guy behind the counter just took my order, handed me my number and walked off, which I get because it was busy. But an hour later, when he brought my food out, he chose to yell at me for “hiding” my number behind my friend’s on the table we were sitting at, and claimed he explicitly told me to make it visible. Again, he didn’t say a word to me when taking my order.
None of my friends or I were upset about the wait for our food, but the server’s bad attitude and choice to scold us made the night end on a real bummer. Again, I get it, food service can be super stressful – I even tried to thank the kitchen on the way out for their obvious hard work – but the attitude of the staff ruined the night and I can’t say I’ll be returning again. Bummer.
