Cheesesteak is just ok, if you’re ready to fight with your food. Subs was soggy and a mess. Flavor was good but I lost the bread as I was eating. Needed utensils for sandwich by the end.

I ordered the square pizza with beef and pepperoni. It was a nice buttery thin crust, and they were not skimpy with the toppings. It was delicious. A great value for low cost. My cousin also ordered the chicken philly and the philly cheesesteak – both were packed with meat and flavor. It was my first time visiting this restaurant, but it definitely won’t be the last.

My first time here. Heard good things, they didn’t disappoint. Steak & cheese was on point fries also. We ordered cheese pizza & received a chicken & cheese pizza ♂️. Sometimes you’re not mad when they get your order wrong. No big problem. Staff was cool & place is still fairly new and clean. Simple food done right is a real treat. We will return again.

This was our first time at this location. We grew up eating the broiler food, especially the steak, and cheese subs and pizza. I heard from family and long-time friends that the new location was just as good as the original location that is located on Columbia Pike in Arlington, VA. I ordered a special, which is a ham, steak, and cheese with mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and mayo with an order of fries. For my beverage, I had a mix, which is the fruit punch and lemonade mixed. The sub did not disappoint it is still the best sub that I have ever eaten. It’s hot fresh and oh, so good. The fries were good, and they give you a lot with plenty to share. My wife ordered the chicken cheesesteak sub. She said it was really good. When we come back, we will have to test the pizza. Keep up the good work, Broiler. We will be back. The men’s bathroom was clean and stocked with insant hot water. Customer service was great.

Definitely the new spot! The owner is amazing and will accommodate all your needs. I got the steak and cheese with fries and everything was well balanced. I had the banana pudding and it was great as well. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed!

So this spot has been around for 50 plus years in Arlington Virginia. Know for their massive STAMPED Steak n Cheese’s (that’s we call them in the D.C. area), they have FINALLY came across the bridge to Maryland. I’m had to GET THERE!!

It must be a new cook because my sub was greasy, bread was soggy, sloppy, cheese was not melted, chunks of meat falling before taking a bite,and toppings were not placed on the sandwich right. The presentation of the sub was messy and fries were brown from old grease. Maybe the usual cook was off but please train the new cook or rehire another cook.

Update: originally had given the Clinton location 3 stars but what I had today dropped it to one. I ordered the deluxe and had one delicious bite, before feeling something hard in the next bite. Upon spitting it out I noticed one of the ties that you typically use on bread was stuck right in the middle of the sub. Take a look at the picture.
Absolutely disgusting and makes me wonder how much they care about the quality of their food and safety of their customers. Yall can keep on going, but I don’t plan on visiting this location anymore unless there are changes in the future. A disappointment to say the least
3 stars for three main reasons.
1. The deluxe s&c is good, but could use a bit more seasoning
2. Each time I get a sub there is an extremely fatty piece where the fat hasn’t been rendered and is extremely chewy. They should either cut the steak into smaller pieces or render those pieces down more
3. While the provolone is good, the American cheese they use is yellow american. They should switch to white American because the flavor is more subtle and it would ruin their subs including the deluxed or others.
If all these were resolved I could safely rate this location a 5.

Food is just decent, not alot of flavor with the steak and cheese or wings. The fries tasted old and a Lil bitter from old grease. Good customer service though.
