I love this bar. The decor, the vine, the staff…it’s a great place to hang out. My hubby and I came out today to watch the world cup and eat brunch. The bartender was friendly and attentive and the food was good.

After a wonderful weekend in San Fran visiting my sister, we were hoping to end off the trip with a nice dinner on this beautiful Saturday afternoon. We pulled up to the Brixton and were initially surprised… why so empty? We gave the empty restaurant the benefit of the doubt and we’re excited because we thought this would turn into a quick and quiet meal. The two waitresses almost appeared to sigh when we walked in, and it took them a solid 3 minutes to tell us that we had to seat ourselves. We took a seat and we’re given some water and the menu’s. We browsed the menu’s fairly quickly, since the menu is the smallest I’ve seen in years. We knew what we wanted, and waited patiently for the waitress to return. We would look over and see the waitresses gossip in their little corner while completely ignoring us. After a solid 20 minutes and all our water completely chugged, we had to make the decision to get up from the table and leave the restaurant. They didn’t even notice, which is shocking because we were like the only ones in the bare restaurant. If you are looking for a solid cup of water and to be ignored for 20 minutes, I’d recommend this place. However, if you are hoping to order a meal and get good service, I’d advise you stay far away. Do better Brixton.

I had a few drinks here the other night, it was nice, beer wasn’t too expensive like 7-8 bucks. But the bartender was really weird with us and the ones behind the bar looked really angry it was a weird vibe. Meanwhile the bus boys and the lady going around for drink orders was really nice! Would probably go back but not looking forward to that type of service honestly.

Great ambiance and space, but food quality was lacking. Breakfast sandwich: 6/10. Egg fried at too high of a temperature, hash browns were too dry, and English muffins did not appear to be at their freshest.

Arrived for brunch before noon, it was not busy at all which is interesting and pleasant for a Cow Hollow location. The ambiance was calm, the music was shockingly great (alternative r&b)and great drinks, I ordered a mimosas & espresso martini. The food was good and each item had its own twist.

Looking for a restaurant we haven’t tried before, we strolled into Brixton on a Saturday morning. While it has a reputation as a go-to sports bar on Union St., we found they have a great breakfast menu to experiment with as well. Which we did and enjoyed.

Chilaquiles are off the hook, drinks are on point and the place is great. A lot of wall art, double ceiling and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend checking in out.

Enjoyable time watching the Warriors beat the Celtics in the playoffs. Rachel and her team were amazing even with the big, boisterous and fun crowd. Recommend the bang bang shrimp !
