Cozy lil restaurant for friends/family to have drinks or dinner. Although we only had appetizers, the food was insane. You definitely have to try the Korean BBQ wings! Best part you can sit inside at a table or the bar. But the seating outside just made the night.

Excellent!! Found this place by accident and so happy we did! Food was better than expected with amazing flavors, every bite was delicious! Per the waiter the menu does change seasonal so can’t wait to go back and see what new ideas get added. Had the Siracha deviled eggs , loaded duck fries, beef wellingtons, and fishing chips. Sauce combinations with each dish were genius n so savory!

Solid place for brunch, dinner or drinks. Been here a couple of times and the food has been great, drinks are very balanced. All the appetizers I’ve tried have been delicious.
I’ve enjoyed The Brixton both during a date and group dining. Servers are attentive and overall atmosphere is wonderful.
Will definitely be going back!

*They have a special TacoBell inspired menu on Tuesdays with select items.

The food and atmosphere here are very Instagram worthy! I was happy everything tasted good too. Between the hummus and the cauliflower platter, there was not a crumb left in sight! Highly recommended for a date night and if you’re lucky, they may have a movie playing on the projection screen. When we went the Grinch was playing!

Beautiful Place. A bit too small for my liking as I had to eat brunch at one of the high tops. Had the Burger Duo. Very tasty. Sadly it doesn’t come with any sides. Not an issue for me as I don’t eat carbs at the moment. Fody and drinks came out pretty quick.
The price was average for the area.
Should be about 10% less expensive give or take. Paid $90 including Tip, for 2 orders of Burgers and 2 drinks.
Will come back again.

Food are small plates. Food is very good. Pretty much spot on. Drinks : points to your bar tenders: 1 l. “Clean out your cocktail shakers before u make ur next drink. This way you don’t end up with leftover Aperol or gin in your next drink. A martini should not taste like Aperol.” 2. When your customer tells you her martini doesn’t tastes right, don’t give the customer a bad attitude. Usually that comes with the customer service thing when running a restaurant. Sorry, the attitude from the bar tenders got u 3 stars. Shame.

Thoroughly enjoyed my opportunity to try a variety of Brixton dishes in the heart of Babylon village.

Appetizers:
– Light but flavorful cauliflower twist to the classic general Tso’s chicken.
– Hearty short rib mac & cheese garnished with crunchy shallots.
– Creamy deviled eggs showered in bacon bits.

Main:
– Wonderfully textured strip steak served cast iron over a uniquely enjoyable sauce, subtle enough to allow the meats natural flavors to shine while still adding it’s own twist

Grand finale:
– Warm sugared fried Oreos reminiscent of a childhood trip to the fair

Special thanks to Lou and Jack.

Very much looking forward to trying the upcoming revamped 2024 menu!

We went to The Brixton on Saturday night, 2/3/18 for the first time and we loved it. So much so that we’ve already gone back for cocktails after dining at another restaurant nearby.
Not knowing much about The Brixton other than from what I had seen on their Instagram account, I was looking forward to trying some of their specialty cocktails and the food.
We started out at the bar, where Lahna ordered a vodka cocktail and I ordered a bourbon cocktail. I can’t remember the names of the drinks, but they were great because we ordered a few each and we were feeling no pain by the time our table was ready. The bartenders are experienced mixologists and take their craft and their drinks very seriously. I can go for one of those bourbon/honey concoctions right now!
Once we got to our table, we were greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable waiter. We’ve had such horrible wait service at so many of our dining adventures, it was refreshing to get a personable waiter who knew what he was doing and knew the menu completely. The only problem was, I think his shift ended in the middle of our dinner because he started out as our waiter, than towards the end of our meal he was gone and we had a different server.
Anyway, we started our with our usual. If there’s oysters on the menu, we’re ordering them. So we ordered a dozen blue point oysters and they were perfect! Cold, cleanly shucked, all the liquor still in the cup, and served with mignonette for me and cocktail sauce for Lahna.
We also shared the poke bowl as an appetizer. It may have been our favorite course of the meal! It was amazing! The tuna was so fresh and the loose Asian flavored grits along with the avocado and pineapple, wow! We could’ve each eaten a huge bowl of just that.
For my main course I ordered the chicken and biscuits. It came out and it looked great. I’ve had no luck ordering any type of fried chicken dish lately, so I was really looking forward to this dish. Unfortunately, I cut open the chicken and it was still raw in the middle. Same issue I’ve had with fried chicken from other places recently. So I notified our awesome server who was totally apologetic and he took it back to the kitchen. A few minutes later he returned and continued to apologize and brought us a beautiful plate of shrimp and grits. It was funny because I was debating on the chicken and biscuits or the shrimp and grits as my entree. I have to say, it was probably the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had, and I’ve had it a lot because it is one of my favorite go-to dishes when I dine out. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, the grits were delicious and the addition of the pork made it unbelievable. A new plate of chicken and biscuits made its way back to the table, this time thoroughly cooked and it was really good, but not as good as the shrimp and grits. I’m glad that I got to try both though.
All in all, The Brixton is a great place! The bartenders are great and make awesome drinks. The chef is extremely talented and makes incredible food. The place is beautiful, the decor is trendy and the vibe is welcoming. I wish we lived closer to The Brixton because we’d be there a lot more often! Love this place and look forward to our next wonderful experience there!
