Wednesday prime rib special absolutely worth it. Don’t be late – sells out quickly.
Happy Hour appetizers also excellent along with the drink specials. House wine was surprisingly well above “house” level.
Chocolate mocha parfait – black forest in a jar! Extravagant and delicious. Absolutely a sharable.
Bartender Steve was engaging, upbeat and competent tending bar, answering the phone and waiting our table.
Heard that the wings are excellent – Thursday special.
All in all – 7.8 out of 5 !!
Highly recommend

Many gluten free options.
Top notch place for brined meats and home made sandwiches and sauces.
A Flavor-Packed Dining Experience on Main Street
by Tampa Bay Food Tours
Located right on Main Street, The Brinehouse is the sister restaurant to the beloved Dunedin Smokehouse. Fans of the Smokehouse will recognize some familiar flavor profiles, but The Brinehouse stands on its own with unique brines, house-made sauces, and thoughtful presentation. Currently, they’re open for dinner and offer weekend lunch service.
Starters That Shine
We kicked things off with the charred cauliflower florets— tossed in a lemon agave buffalo hot sauce and topped with gorgonzola crumbles.
Another standout starter is the maple bourbon brined chicken wings, available with a variety of house-made sauces: Each sauce brings its own personality—don’t be afraid to ask for a sampler!
Entrées & Sides That Steal the Show
Entrées come with a choice of two sides, and in many cases, the sides are stars in their own right.
The petite side salad was more like a meal—brimming with fresh ingredients and topped with one of their house-made dressings.
The Green Goddess potato salad deserves its own fan club—herbaceous, creamy, and bright.
Other favorites: garlicky broccolini with gorgonzola fondue and crispy parmesan Brussels sprouts—both bursting with bold flavor.
We highly recommend the Texas Two-Step mixed grill platter, which lets you sample two of the five protein entrées.
Angus beef tri-tip steak: Coffee-brined and grilled, then topped with a wild mushroom ancho chili sauce. Tender and rich—this dish changed my mind about tri-tip.
Duroc pork tenderloin: Garlic-cumin brined and finished with a tangy cherry pepper BBQ glaze.
Both proteins were perfectly cooked and deeply flavorful.
Final Thoughts
The Brinehouse is a must-try spot for anyone who appreciates bold flavors, careful technique, and locally rooted hospitality. Whether you’re here for the wings, the brined pork, or simply those addictive Brussels sprouts, you’re in for a treat.

From the moment the Steak Rustler arrived at our table, it was clear that Brinehouse in Safety Harbor understands the art of flavor composition. This isn’t just a steakhouse dish—it’s a carefully orchestrated symphony of tastes that speaks to both Southern comfort and culinary innovation.
The star of the evening was undoubtedly the steak itself, cooked to perfection with a beautiful char that locked in every bit of its natural richness. But what elevated this dish from excellent to extraordinary was the inspired pairing of pimento cheese and poblano peppers. The creamy, tangy pimento cheese brought a luxurious texture and nostalgic warmth, while the poblano peppers added a subtle heat and earthy complexity that danced across the palate. Each bite revealed new layers—the smokiness of the peppers playing against the sharpness of the cheese, all while the perfectly seasoned steak anchored the experience with its robust, satisfying presence.
The Antipasto Salad served as the ideal counterpoint to the richness of the Steak Rustler. Fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully composed, this wasn’t your standard salad—it was a celebration of texture and acidity. The pickled vegetables brought a bright, tangy punch that awakened the palate, while the fresh ingredients provided crisp contrast and garden-fresh flavor. It’s the kind of dish that reminds you why great restaurants pay attention to every course, not just the main event.
What impressed me most about this meal was the balance. Brinehouse has mastered the delicate art of creating dishes that are simultaneously bold and refined, comforting yet sophisticated. The kitchen clearly respects quality ingredients while having the confidence to push flavor boundaries.
For anyone seeking an elevated dining experience in Safety Harbor, Brinehouse delivers not just a meal, but a memorable culinary journey worth savoring.
