I went to the bar last night for a college event, but the atmosphere just wasn’t the same as it usually is. It felt kind of off — not the same energy or good vibes I experienced a couple of weeks ago when another nightlife group hosted an event here. That one was a great time, super fun and well put together. Last night just didn’t have that same spark, which was a bit disappointing since I know how good the nights here can be.

First time here was a few weeks ago . Service is great at the bridge . The bartenders do a great job considering how many people are there. to them . But last night it was just weird . The crowd was just off . Different crowd than it was a few weeks ago at the first college party. Maybe it was just a different promoter last night? I think there was a different hospitality group. Anyway I see some reviews about the bartenders being rude but that’s the only Reason I’m giving 3 stars. Please change back to the other hospitality group.

the bar is awesome! i go there all the time for college events and it’s usually a good time. this time however they shoved my friend to the ground and she was bleeding, they broke her phone and when i asked to get her water (i was sober and non confrontational) they shoved me as well. i eventually got an apology from another female bouncer so i was okay. i understand they have a reputation to uphold but i feel that they can be a little too aggressive when denying people entry and they could be nicer about rejecting people.

I’ve been coming here for over a month now for college events and usually have a great time. We haven’t had too many issues but over my time coming here, I noticed that the bartenders were a little rude or dismissive. However they’re always very busy so I understand that sometimes it happens. There was another night we were here and one of the security guys (the older guy with grey hair) screamed at my friend completely unprovoked because she wasn’t sure if they wanted her college ID or state ID and when she asked he wouldn’t tell her, he just kept yelling at her. Aside from this, everything was fine until the other night.
On 10/1 my friends and I attended a college Halloween event. We all paid and entered and my friend was the last of our group. However, as she walked in they started yelling at her to get out (after she was already pat down and about to pay the cover) as they claimed she was too drunk. I completely understand bar policies, but what happened next is where the problem lies. While obviously confused about why they were going to let her in and then suddenly changed their minds, multiple security people screaming at her and one of them shoved her backwards, causing my friend to fall and leaving her knee bleeding and her phone broken. When I realized that my friend was now standing outside crying, I went to the exit where the security guy there argued with me about letting me out to go talk to her and told me that he would not be letting me back in even though I had just paid the $20 cover and had a wristband proving it. He eventually let me go outside though.
We got back on line to ask security what happened and explain to them that my friend was now bleeding and had a broken phone because of them, at which point they screamed at both of us again and two different security guards proceeded to shove me as well. They also told me that they would not be letting me back in for the night even though I already paid and they refused to give me my money back.
Again, while I do understand that they have their rules, security had no right to put their hands on me and my friend as we never posed any threat or did anything wrong. They also offered no help after they saw that my friend was actively bleeding and refused to get us any water when we asked. What could’ve been a simple conversation and explanation turned into a violent attack and left us with a very bad impression of the bar and its employees. What happened was so unexpected, unprofessional and an abuse of power.
We will not be returning after the way we were treated here.
I’ll be attaching a photo of my friend’s phone after they shoved her.

The owner Andy is a great guy, he makes sure everyone is well taken care of and that his staff is acting accordingly. He keeps everything in check and ensures everyone is getting what they paid for which is a great & enjoyable time. Shoutout to Milo for being their best bouncer.

Bartender said I am not 21 when I fully had my ID on me. Worst staff ever- didn’t believe a word ( rudely). Not a single thing they did was kind. Worst staff I had ever encountered.

Don’t come here! They clearly don’t care about their customers, and the bartenders are unbelievably rude and dismissive. Total disrespect for the people spending money here.

A-one and his staff are always friendly, welcoming, and full of energy. If you are looking to have fun and leave your worries at the door this is the place to be.. with bartenders like Chris and Jena, you will always feel like part of the team :). It’s a vibe

Also please try the Chicharon de pollo

I recently visited your establishment to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and I’m deeply disappointed and concerned by the experience I had.

The venue was extremely hot and filled with heavy hookah and marijuana smoke, which made it very difficult for me a person with asthma to breathe. I had my inhaler on hand, but it was ineffective in that environment. After beginning to feel lightheaded and close to passing out, I sought help from security, informing them that I was experiencing a medical emergency and might not be able to make it through the crowd on my own.

I was shocked by their response. Instead of assisting me, one security guard rudely dismissed me, raising his hands and saying, “Get out of my face use the front door.” This was not only disrespectful but dangerously negligent. And very unfortunate after watch a young woman being carried out unconscious when I first arrived.

Thankfully, I found my daughter who with great effort help me outside and I was able to use my inhaler in clearer air. But this could have ended very differently. A person with asthma losing consciousness has only minutes before CPR might be required. No one from your staff followed up or ensured I made it out safely.

This experience was deeply upsetting. I strongly urge your team to implement better emergency response training for staff particularly security so they can distinguish genuine medical situations from anything else. People’s lives can depend on their awareness and reaction.

This night was meant to be a celebration. Instead, it turned into something frightening and traumatic. I hope you’ll take this seriously not just for me, but for anyone who might walk through your doors needing help.
