The Bridge is great family friendly restaurant in Hemby Bridge. I had the black and blue burger with fries . The burger was cooked perfectly topped with bacon, and blue cheese crumbles made the burger taste delicious . Everything on the menu is priced very reasonable plus the servings are pretty big. There are also daily food specials and a good selection of desserts . It is a warm comfortable food that you get at your grandma’s house.

Excellent, down home, locally owned family restaurant. Charming exterior and comfortable, familiar interior.
Warm, pleasant staff with sincere service.
We ordered two burgers. They were excellent, made with high quality meat. Mac and cheese side also excellent. Crinkle cut fries (frozen product) were fine. Cashier at front desk, also very pleasant.
Good job all around.
Highly recommend.

This breakfast bowl was absolutely amazing. The hash browns were perfectly crispy, and the portion of bacon and sausage was generous. The grilled peppers and onions added a great flavor and made the dish even more satisfying.

The pancake special was a delightful surprise. The pancakes paired beautifully with pear, Brie, cranberries and basil, creating a rich and satisfying flavor combination. The hash browns came out perfectly golden and crispy, served with hearty portions of bacon and sausage. Grilled peppers and onions brought everything together nicely. A warm, comforting breakfast that truly hits the spot.

Stopped by for breakfast with my husband. The breakfast bowl was beyond delicious, crispy hash browns, plenty of bacon and sausage and to top it off with grilled peppers and onions. Not only was the breakfast fresh and homemade, we also experienced top of the notch customer service from our server Jesse. Everyone was friendly and very welcoming. Overall, I would highly recommend supporting this local restaurant.

1st, Terri rocked! Awesome service, fun conversation, and big smile. The bridge delivered on my expectations. Good/simple breakfast food. Good portions. Reasonable prices. Amazing service. My coffee barely hit 1/2 empty before it was filled again.

One suggestion-Pancakes were a little boring. Maybe buttermilk, or sweeter maple syrup. But, I’m being nittpicky. ..

Thanks for breakfast!

Truly a great lunch experience here.

The hostess was prompt and warmly greeted everyone, and my server was the same. I forgot to take the receipt since I paid cash, but it was an older brunette woman with glasses. She answered any and all questions I had with confidence!

The cowboy caviar and toasted pita chips were very tasty, I absolutely enjoyed them!

I got a buffalo chicken wrap, but subbed the fried chicken for grilled — perhaps that was a mistake. Though the chicken was still moist and tender, it lacked any heat that perhaps the fried would have had (based on how the menu description made it seem). Additionally, the buffalo sauce itself was watery and very tame with little to no heat, which was a big disappointment.

The side of French fries were fried well, but again, no seasoning whatsoever. Nothing some salt and pepper can’t fix, but still.

Only other thing of note to add is that there is a surcharge for using a credit card. I am not a fan of when restaurants do this, I’d rather just pay more per item. However, a majority of the patrons were much older than I am and of the generation where “cash is king”… so maybe that’s why.

Overall, it was a great meal though. Next time I’ll have to come for dinner, so I can save room for dessert!

First time here. I wanted to give their Prime Rib a try. My waitress, Emily, was very pleasant, informative, and professional. As my sides, I ordered the House Tossed Salad, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and the Corn Casserole. Emily suggested a dessert. Chocolate Spoon Lovin Cake.

The salad was good. The Ranch dressing was very good. The prime was good, especially given the price. Just under $22. I should have asked for extra Au Jus. It was a tad dry in the middle. That said, the outer portion was very good. The Garlic Mashed Potatoes were ok. Could use a bit more garlic and a touch of salt. The Corn Casserole was just ok. I am sure many folks like it. It just wasn’t for me. It’s too similar to a corn pudding, which I do not care for. The dessert was outstanding. Not to rich. I couldn’t finish it. The chocolate cream dollop with a chocolate drizzle really brought it all together. Would definitely get it again.

Overall a very good experience. If i could give 4.7 stars, I would. It is not quite a 5 but did not want to do this place a disservice and give them only 4 stars. It is almost a hidden gem given their location.

The atmosphere was pleasant. I would call this a low-key chop house. I would be very open to going back to try some of the other menu items.
They have an extensive ice cream menu. It was obvious that some people came just for the desserts. There are a number of tables outside the front door.

I’ve been going here several years. Always satisfied. Not so much last night. I don’t care for places that make it sound like food is prepared on site. I ordered ribs and asked if they were good. The server responded that people liked them. Red flag. She should have said they were made on site by a person who knows how to cook them.

I took 2 bites. You can see my reviews, I don’t complain unless I have to. They appeared to be bought, reheated, and drowned in sauce. They should have never left the kitchen. The dry meat stuck in my teeth till I got home and flossed it out. It was so dry and stringy that I could hardly swallow it.

Maybe this was a 1 time occurrence. I’ve smoked ribs for 30 years, so I do know what is good, and I give some room for restaurant prepping. These were not even close to being restaurant quality.

I asked that I don’t need to speak to a manager and I didn’t need a discount for not eating the bad ribs. I did feel she would do the right thing and remove the charge.
She did ask if I wanted something else and offered dessert. But when I’m done, I am done. I ate my fries and some of my Wife’s seafood.

So, this was 1 bad experience out of many good experiences I’ve had at The Bridge. I review a lot of businesses, and I try to be fair. They either need to cook their own or stop selling them.
