The owners took great care in preserving the history of the building. The staff are awesome and the food is excellent. There is a good selection of cocktails and beer. Great things to come at this growing restaurant. We love their playlist concept.

My wife and I hopped on my Harley & drove from the Reading area for a mid-afternoon lunch. We were on the way to ride “Pennsylvania’s Tail of the Dragon” and wanted to be well fed for fun. Loved everything here – great apps and sandwiches! They have neat menu with sort of a la carte meats and cheeses – my family from Germany would love this (as I did)! Now I have a good reason to return to Pine Grove.

I have eaten here a handful of times now! The crab cake sandwich is amazing and usually my go to. I just tried their special of the week- the Bistro Burger- delicious! The bacon jam between the 2 burgers was so full of flavor and the onions also bursted with their own flavor. I tried the homemade ranch dressing to go with my side salad- it did not disappoint. It was very rich and creamy.
For dessert- the chocolate cake is my favorite! It almost tastes more like a thick brownie- so dense and delicious.

Absolutely great food. If you aren’t sure on what you’re ordering… no worries… the staff are very educated on what is on menu. Not only was the food wonderful… but the food presentation was beautiful. Don’t be afraid to select a bunch of things… they are smaller portions on a huge tray. And the sink menu! Very good!!!.. great experience and will be returning to try there famous breakfast on Sunday!!!

Visited for Sunday lunch. Fairly new restaurant in a 100 yr old building. Rustic but charming. As our server Cindy said, it’s a work in progress. The stuffed French Toast was wonderful, with fresh berries and Mascarpone cheese. The crab cake sandwich was well seasoned, however you can still taste the crab. We wish the restaurant great success during these rather challenging times.

Was very excited to try this new restaurant and while the atmosphere and staffing were nice, the menu selections were very limited. We ended up ordering a Charcuterie Board and were brought what appeared to be deli purchased cheese and meats. They were cut very poorly and was garnished with 2 dates and 2 grapes. They forgot our 3rd meat we ordered as well as the bread/ crackers that were supposed to be served with it. The restaurant had approximately 12 people seated and our service was still very slow for drinks and a simple charcuterie board. I do hope they improve because I was very saddened by the overall experience. Rated a 2 star because they are starting out fresh and understand limitations but don’t open if you’re not 100% prepared

Very disappointed with my experience. The waitress was very nice. Menu was very confusing with little choices. Music was horrible. I was not expecting, heavy metal music with profanity after church on a Sunday. Food was not what I was expecting either. Took 45 minutes to get French toast and 2 sandwiches. As we were waiting for our food, the waitress must have been confused, because I saw my sandwich at every table before it made it to me.

I had the Croquet Madame which was absolutely delicious. The cheese was melty and creamy and the egg on top was cooked perfectly. Great beer selection and some really unique mixed drinks. Will definitely be back.

We ended up here after the place we intended to go was closed. What a treat! We ordered the charcuterie board, which was delicious. All of us also got the cheese sandwich with béchamel sauce. The side salad was small but fresh. Our server was sweet and very attentive.
