There really truly wasn’t enough seating. The bartending staff was pretty slow and didn’t seem to want to help everybody. They also had a notice on the door because they closed the entire place down for special events. Make sure you have a back up plan. The bar itself look like it was pretty stocked.

We hosted a wedding weekend cocktail gathering at the Brick Room and it could not have been a more perfect space and event for about 50+ people. The staff was well prepared and on-point with delicious cocktails and food. The space has a great vibe—classy yet comfortable and our guests loved it. Went in for the first time after living in Golden for almost 8 years and was surprised no one ever recommended coming here. Out of curiosity, a group of us meeting for happy hour got together at 4pm on a Friday – it was relatively busy but several tables and bar seats were available. We sat down at a larger high top waiting for our friends to join. There were two bartenders working when we arrived. We sat there for 6-7 minutes with no acknowledgement and heard the female bartender ask the male bartender “you got that table?” He said yes. We sat for another 10 minutes as we watched the male bartender (the woman had now closed out) chat with people at the bar and casually enjoy a slice of pizza. He looked over several times and saw us waiting and never reacted.
Naturally, we left and went to Buffalo Rose (one of many consistently great places in town) across the street that has good drinks, food and service. The bartender ate his pizza watching us (and a couple hundred dollars with regular 20%+ tipping) walk out the door.
Bummed we gave this spot a shot and staff felt regulars (or something?) were the only customers in the place. First and last time at The Brick Room.

Fantastic place to host a wedding afterparty! We were seeking a private space to host a loud party, and the Brick Room attached to the Miner’s Saloon was perfect. Aimee the owner and our two bartenders were all responsive and professional, and our guests had a fantastic time. Thank you all!
