This was our fifth visit, in the past visits we have always gotten pizza and they have always been so good! This visit we tried the sampler appetizer ($17) and it was just ok. The mozzarella, garlic bread , fried ravioli I felt was over cooked and the wings need more flavor their dangerous wing sauce was not spicy . Side salad was average, the bread for their hero was underwhelming could have used garlic butter or butter. Bathrooms were clean but more like surface clean, a/c vent door and crevices could use a deep clean. I will return for pizza because I like to support mom and pop places and this place definitely has a mom and pops feel. They do have a full bar and a good selection of draft beers.
-Forgot the bowl of soup, $8 robbery
-Medium pepperoni, solid pizza, however not the best in the county 7/10
-Spaghetti bolognese, pasta very overcooked, good meat sauce 5/10, would be a 9/10 if the pasta is al dente
-Chicken parm, oddly sweet, cook itself was good, maybe less sauce? The chicken could’ve been crispier 5/10
-side Caesar salad, salad was not dressed nor did it come with dressing on the side. 0/10 for plain romain
Would not order take out from here. Would come back to dine here for Pizza
We had a medium sized group which was a great way to try a couple of different pizzas on the same visit. We had a specialty pizza and a ‘standard’ pepperoni pizza. We where all quite impressed by both pizzas. The thin crust had a slight crunch. The bottom of the crust had the perfect color which is a telltale indication about a pizzaria’s true meddle. I don’t always eat the outer edge crust but this pizza’s edge crust was thin and flavorful and not the slightest bit doughy.
We had a group of six and the service was quick, efficient and our waiter had a fun personality. I later learned he was manager.
I noticed they also serve Italian dinner entree’s too. While I didn’t try one they looked quite good.
In summary, I was very impressed and will be back.
My partner got the New York original and gave it his 5 star approval as well.
