Date/Time of visit: January 18, 2025 approx 2:45pm was first time visiting The Brick Oven Bakery while on a road trip.
Great little bakery, don’t let the size fool you. They have huge assortment of Italian frozen dinners, condiments, pickled items and a large selection of deli meats and sweets. Of course they also have fresh baked breads.
Staff was exceptionally friendly and very welcoming. We bought tuna sandwich, Portuguese tart and 2 foccacia loafs.
Everything was delicious. Highly recommend checking them out.

Very sad about this bakery, was hoping to find a good bakery close by and this seemed to be the place but when I went, granted 30 min prior to closing time on a Sunday, the two employees working were super rude. I was waiting my turn behind another person infront of me when the two workers came out from the back room. One was very visibly annoyed we were even there and made a comment very loudly “of course right when we want to close” I ignored it and remained in line until she decided to make it a point to tell me I MUST wait my turn as she is busy, mind you all I had said at that point was hello. I then decided to find out if they even have what I was there to purchase, as to not waste any more of her precious time, so I asked the other employee who was standing by on the side but she made it a point to stop what she was doing and come over to scould me for saying anything. Needless to say I walked out and I will not be returning to this bakery.

I grew up going to this bakery almost daily, I would just look around and dream!
As an adult, I came back and although they no longer sell the cake slices I loved so much, everything we bought was fantastic. The donuts were so rich that I was able to eat one in three separate sittings. My son had the peanut butter cookies and said they were perfect. We had cannolis and tiny tiramisu circles.

I’ve been coming to the Brick Oven for years I love the wide variety of freshly baked bread. The hot table is amazing I have tried every item the chicken parm would have to be my favourite! The pastries are unique and there is always something new to try. The price is very reasonable for the quality you get. But one of my favourite things about this bakery is the customer service! Sarah is a gem! She is always smiling, always happy, constantly running around serving customers everywhere. She’s hilarious, personable and just makes my day every time I come in! I came in today she wasn’t in. The demeanour of the store just wasn’t the same. Don’t get me wrong the staff are all fantastic. I just find her energy and happiness to be contagious. You definitely need to try this bakery! Keep up the great work Brick Oven!

Very disappointed with the quality and service of the cakes in this bakery. I’ve ordered throughout the years. A number of Italian rum cakes which were great. However, the last rum cake I ordered didn’t even have rum in it. Furthermore, they had screwed up on the decorations on the cake. When confronting the bakery about the fact that the cake was not a rum cake which had no rum or rum flavor unlike many of the rum cakes I’ve purchased from them before. The manager didn’t even want to listen to my justification as to why it wasn’t a rum cake which then prompted me to immediately express how I really felt and walk away. No apology and no concern for customer service. Never will buy another cake from this place again!

Authentic Italian bakery…. Everything about this place captivate me since the beginning !!! I could not resit the temptation to taste all the bread and the pastries. Since bonds, to croissants, corn bread, raisins bread, whole wheat bread and much…. MUCH more. All of the them … just delicious. Ahhh and the staff…. amazing people !! The service is above excellent !! Highly recommended !! If I can put 100 starts… I will do it !!

Was very disappointed visiting here recently. This was a place my family and I frequented when I lived in the neighborhood. The prices are ridiculous. The value doesn’t match up. I understand that the prices for everything has gone up but it made me not want to even look around or buy anything else since the prices were so alarming.
