We had an incredible lunch at The Brick House—from start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The standout was their Asian calamari special—hands down the best we’ve ever had! It was bursting with flavor, perfectly crispy, and had just the right touch of sweetness.
Our table enjoyed a variety of dishes, and every plate was exceptional. The ribeye steak was cooked to a flawless medium rare, incredibly juicy and tender. The calamari and mushroom specials were also a hit, full of depth and savory notes. I personally had the whole bronzino, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented.
Service was equally impressive. Our main waiter was extremely professional, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The entire staff was warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and inviting. We appreciated the ample parking, and while we didn’t use valet during our afternoon visit, it’s available in the evening.
Highly recommend The Brick House for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!
Strictly speaking to my own meal, the clam chowder was very watered down and devoid of actual clam meat and flavor, not at all what I expect from NE chowder even at a cheap restaurant. The hamburger I couldn’t even finish it was so cold and slimy. Obviously it had been sitting on a counter somewhere waiting. Hate to say it, but I’ve had better burgers on the side of the road. Maybe they would have done something about it but I’m not going to whine about it during dinner and ruin a night out with good friends.
The last straw was the drinks. From a high end restaurant I expect a certain level of quality, but the mixed drinks were uninspired and made with typical cheap bar melting ice. For a guy that likes bourbon or an Old Fashioned, it’s a non-starter. My wife didn’t have anything good to say about the food, but I won’t speak for her here.
I’m just glad I didn’t waste my money on a steak or other entrée.
Your experience may vary, but you’ve been warned.
One glass of wine came out with a fly in it, they forgot the scotch in the scotch and soda.
Most of the apps were good, clams and calamari. The steaks were good, but my medium rare was more medium.
The fries were soggy garbage. The steak sauce was tasteless. They gave me ketchup in a plastic container like you’d get at a fast food burger joint.
Service was quick but not really friendly.
Expected better
Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service was excellent as well. The atmosphere was upscale, yet causal. I highly recommend Brick House.
In addition, the price was reasonable for an upscale restaurant.
