Fantastic spot that you’ll easily miss if you’re speeding through Brewster. Doesn’t look like much, it’s small, shingled and authentically Cape, but the atmosphere and food are delish. We had the Lobster Rangoons and bowls of Chowder. The Rangoons are light, crispy, and delicious. The chowder, and I consider myself quite the chowder snob, was perfect. Creamy yet delicate with ample pieces of seafood, including clams and cod, and with pieces of potato that were diced in a size that said, “we’re part of this not just cheap filler”. If the rest of the menu shows the same thought and care in execution, I would assume that your visit will be as perfect as our lunch there was.
Huge shout out to the waitstaff and kitchen staff as well.
Try the Watermelon Paloma, it’s wonderful.

We stopped in here to get some appetizers and a cold drink. We got there about 5:00 and it’s a good thing because by the time we left after 6:00 it was packed and people were waiting to get in. I can see why, the food is delicious and the service is great. We enjoyed the calamari appetizer as well as some delicious lobster bisque. Yes, this is the place to get lobster bisque on the Cape. This is the reason why the locals are always lined up at the door the first day they open. It’s the bisque.

Nice lunch at Brewster Fish House. My wife had their fish tacos, and I had a bowl of lobster bisque. Their bisque was very creamy with nice pieces of lobster. It was nice to find this open with so many restaurants in Brewster still closed for the winter season.

Eaten here before and the food was fine. Last night however was different. I ordered the lamb special and one small part of it tasted off but the rest seemed ok. Mistake! Spent all night sick as a dog and still feel terrible. The health department needs to check out the kitchen.
Service was spotty and got worse when our server figured out we weren’t drinking. Only one server for the entire place as well. And while the decor is nice it’s very loud. We won’t be going back.

Good food. Nice place.
They have a rather limited menu of around six choices. I can’t say that I loved the food but it was good enough.
I did like the chocolate desert.
Oh and I do have to say that they have an extensive selection of whisky and (amazingly) gin. But I have to say that $36 for a nip of Yellow Spot is (pretty) outrageous. Same price (and same comment) for some of their single malt selections.
They don’t take reservations.
Good enough if you are in the area

Really delicious gourmet seafood. It’s expensive and totally worth it! The menu changes each season and reflects availability and culinary trends. They do not do reservations it’s strictly first come first served. Sunday lunch is lined out the door every week in summer. Nice bar for cocktails too.

The food was spectacular. Fresh and very well prepared.

The location close to the women restroom its not the best… should be a 2 top there not a 4 top table

The idea of being rush from the server was also a little uncomfortable, being middle week.

November 2022: The lobster bisque is still great. Calamari was very good and generous amount, enough to share for two. The scallops were beautifully presented, but the flavors were not as good as the appetizer and soup.
2016: Great lobster bisque. Good seafood options. Had several good dinners here, the last one was not as good but we will give it another chance base on history.

Food was original and very delicious. Combinations of items you dont see every day. The prices reflect fine dining not crazy high, but more than the average place on the cape. Cod was unreal. The fluke was so amazing except that it was folded and broiled, but the under part was not cooked enough and was still raw (not flaking apart). That aside it was an interesting experience. Jerusalem Artichoke was a first for me.

The food is generally good here however the service can be unpredictable. Hopefully your service dice roll is a good one and you can thoroughly enjoy the experience, else face the undesirable variables.
