I was there last week to meet my sister for the first time. I ordered a French 75 and waited with flowers for her. I believe that they were racist because of the attitude and energy of the bar staff on both sides. One side the staff members followed me around like I was going to steal what I purchased which was gourmet tuna fish that I wanted to try. I just gave it to her as I continued to shop. Because as black people – we do not have the privilege in some stores to enjoy the act of tasting and reading boxes. Now, I was wearing a Rolex and high end clothing but they still followed me around. It comes to show that racism is everywhere. Additionally, I own the therapy company down the street. So, I walked to this company. Moving forward…. I will tell anyone I know not to support this company. Racist is not cool and profiling is not acceptable. Grow please and training your staff

Came in with my partner to browse because they had some drinks and snacks we were looking for, cashier was more interested in being on her phone. If we asked any questions she gave short, snippy answers, and afterward, proceeded to stare at us with the angriest expression she could manage.
Regardless, if the store wanted us to feel unwelcome, they succeeded, definitely will not be returning, and I recommend you don’t bother either, unless you enjoy being treated like a nuisance.

What a gem! This place is amazing and the individual working this past Friday night gave me some incredible wine suggestions and was so fun to interact with. I’m from Chicago and was really impressed with the selection y’all have. Big city folks aren’t easy to impress.

Ciara was amazing and so sweet! I love the selection and the whole vibe of this store. You can find a little bit of everything like wine, seltzers, incense, stickers, and even cookies.

We spend a lot of time at The Breeze — whether it’s grabbing a quick breakfast and coffee, picking out a bottle of wine, finding a local gift, or just getting some work done outside the house. It’s such a unique and welcoming spot. The staff is great. Julie in particular is always great at suggesting new drinks and encouraging me to try something different — her recommendations are always on point.

Great selection of wine, I was pleasantly surprised that they also had coffee! I think the woman who helped me out was named Julie or Jules? She was so friendly and knowledgeable. She even gave me some suggestions on things to do while I’m in Louisville!

Breeze Wine & Coffee is such a cool unique spot to find things you wouldn’t typically find anywhere. The selection of natural wines, as well as unique international foods, goodies, and gifts is amazing. Destiny, one of the baristas there, has introduced me to so many of my new favorite wines, canned fish, and chocolates. She’s definitely my go to person for advice and referrals of what to try next.

Very chill, kind people. With this and the bar next door you have one of the best bar experience in Louisville.

Got a combination of counter service with good prices. Then, fancier cocktails next door. It’s got a little something for everyone, beer, wine, coffee, sodas, energy drinks, snacks, etc. Then a very good patio to enjoy it all. ❤️

Great coffee, beautiful wine and food selection, and plenty of gifts to delight a wide range of interests. I even got my son a small gift while we were there and picked out some letterpress thank you cards to send to our hosts!

I moved to the Shelby Park neighborhood about a month before The Breeze/Canary Club opened—and WOW! The shop has made an amazing impact on Shelby Street over the past couple of years. The Breeze is such a cute spot, especially when you’re looking for gifts for friends or just need a little treat for yourself. I’m not into booze, but I love the coffee specials, and the baristas are always friendly and cool. Julie makes bangin’ lattes! This is the spot I always take my out-of-town visitors to show them what I think is cool about Lou. Thanks, all! <3
