The menu is far bigger than I posted! Wonderful food with homemade croissants and other items.

Delicious and not your typical breakfast place

Ate here for brunch on a Saturday. I feel as the aesthetics of the restaurant does not match the vibe of their menu. I was surprised by the restaurant. I had the oven baked French toast. I’m not a berry fan so I didn’t love the top of it. I would try something different if I were to eat here again. Their “hand squeezed” orange juice tasted like it came from a gallon. Service was decent, appear friendly but had an underlying rudeness.

Nice little place to visit, friendly staff who talked to us like they’d known us forever.

The food was great, one of us got one of the special french toast plates, and the other got a couple scrambled eggs, hash browns, regular french toast, and sausage gravy.

Both of us tried the special, it was fantastic, I’d recommend either of them, even though we only tried the one, the other had to be just as good.

Everything came out quickly and tasted great for us both.

This is a little cafe with big flavor, not far from the UofM Brighton center. Clean and quaint. They have 4-egg omelettes and homemade corned beef hash. Yum! The hash browns were crispy perfect and the omelettes loaded. Took a good portion of the corned beef hash home and finished it the next day.

I really wanted to like the breakfast club as it seems like a great place to eat in Brighton. I have been to the breakfast club twice this year (2025) about a month apart.

1. They are definitely short staffed and unfortunately you can tell. Both times I went on a Saturday and Sunday. Not only did I have to wait for 10+ minutes for a table, but also the service was relatively slow. Meaning we waited at least 10+ minutes after ordering drinks to order food.

2. The plus side is the food is sizable portions! The French toast is definitely suitable for 2-3 people to enjoy.

3. As some people said, parking is an issue. When it’s busy it’s almost impossible to find a spot in the lot. Last time I went, my family and I had to park by the Jimmy John’s lot next door.

Overall it’s an okay experience- if you don’t mind being patient and classic diner food, this is good stop!

I’m ashamed to say we drove by this restaraunt for many years without taking much notice due to it’s unassuming exterior. It was definitely our loss. We tried it for the first time and were truly impressed. The dining room is cozy and clean. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Most importantly the food was excellent with unique takes on breakfast staples. Everytning had tons of flavor. A little more expensive than an average Coney Island breakfast. However, in my opinion, it is worth it to move up from those other mediocre offerings to the Breakfast Club’s interesting and delicious fare.

Waitress was friendly, welcoming and enjoyable. Food was okay but pricey. The waffle/toast bake was huge but burnt.

First, this spot checks all the basic boxes. It’s very clean. They are very friendly. The food is excellent. But second, the food is not just run-of-the-mill fare. It’s a little different. We had brisket eggs hollandaise and Betty’s Scramble with Tomatoes o’Gratin. They were both delicious. Don’t be a fool. Get yourself here and enjoy!
UPDATE: We came for breakfast a second day in a row, and it was even better the second time.
