We went in mid morning Friday. It was quiet. We were immediately greeted and brought menus. My husband, 2 yo son, and I all got breakfast.
My husband got the chicken fried steak, I got biscuits and gravy, and my 2 yo got the kids pancake and fruit.
It was all so good. My son kept saying, “I like it!” after each bite.
We will definitely be back!

Wanted to try the new restaurant in town. The Menu had a decent assortment of options, and the food quality was pretty solid. The service was very nice and friendly. The only issue for us was the prices… Prices were a bit high for what you received…Otherwise it is worth a shot!

Stopped in for breakfast with a friend. Had chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. The gravy on both dishes was the best gravy I’ve had in my life. The guy running the place was super great. Real cool guy very fun to talk with and he gave us a slice of cake to share. Will definitely be coming back. The mix of good homemade Hispanic/southern cooking is phenomenal.

. I ordered loaded potatoes and a side of a chorizo link . She asked how do you want your eggs scrambled? I said over medium I don’t care for scrambled eggs . I received my breakfast the veggies in it were cold and the eggs were over easy. The what upset me was my chorizo came chopped up in scrambled eggs both had been overcooked. I got what looked like hash browns . I told her I wanted a chorizo . She says ok . She never came back with a chorizo or credited me for the other just left it on the table . And they charged me 8 dollars for it

Terribly dirty. When ice melted there were floating debris, owner/server dismissed our concerns.
There was a substance in the salt and when owner/server was asked what it was she said she didn’t know, maybe rice or pepper or something. She gave us a different one and it also had debris in it as well. The entire place was dirty and not well maintained. We didn’t touch our food and left it sitting on in the table. Owner/server was rude. Charged us without offering any discounts. I highly recommend you all go somewhere else.

Josh and Miss Gabby were warm and welcoming and the food was fantastic. We ordered chicken fried steak…the gravy was delicious and hearty, clearly not from a package. Chicken fried was fork tender, and eggs were cooked exactly as I requested. We’ll definitely go back whenever we’re out in Homedale.

Owner replied to my first comment, I am a general contractor and a good filter removes things of that size from your water etc. A dirty or inatiquite filter lets that kind of stuff pass through (I have installed MANY professional systems). The 61$ paid for the food we didn’t eat is less than a Doctor Bill for us all getting sick. As a General Contrator and owner of 5 Business’ I have gone into places that are closed down and cleaned them out before we start a tenant improvement and most are cleaner then your establishment. Your excuses for charging us for the inplorable food conditions in which you serve your customers, I feel is not genuine – it is only to try to negate the poor rating. I will not stick your food in my mouth just so I can get a refund!

Best cinnamon roll I have ever eaten! All breakfast items are great, Tamales are super delicious. You cant go wrong coming here for breakfast or lunch, The family that owns and operates this business are great people and provide great service!
